    I'm not using the FTB launcher myself, but there should be a button on it to add mods. Alternatively just drop it into your mods folder.

    Just an FYI tested on 1.4.7 and seems all stable and working as the 1.5.2 version does.

    the mod realy lags out NEI, if i hit P without it i get to the potion screen, with this mod it takes about a half minute or longer.
    i am sondrex but you can call me sondrex76 if somebody know a forum admin can you tell me i realy want to talk with them about why i got banned for no reason at all.

    Are you sure it's my mod? It can add a crapload of data to NEI if you have Extra+Thaumic bees, which can slow down search and recipe lookup a bit... but it shouldn't interfere with potions in any way that i can see from the code. I've tested it in my current world and the potion screen loads up instantly.

    Can you try if disabling "Add Bees to Search" in the config improves your performance?

    Edit: Is that on 1.4.7 by chance? NEI had some performance issues with searching tooltips back then, and all the bees have lots of tooltips (and they aren't hidden in 1.4.7 forestry) which can make it worse i guess.

    A common result of search lag is the Ars Magica Plugin. Make sure this is not installed. I had absolutely no search lag after I uninstalled the plugin.
    I'd like to note that my actual username should be whizzball1. A name change would be useful right about now.

    Same here: The lag is due to the Ars Magica plugin. If you install the 1.0 version instead of the 1.1 of it, the lag goes away. (The lag is due to the tooltips it adds for essence.)

    I never understood why Mistaqur never included something like this for his NEI_plugins, but I'm just glad someone did.

    Thanks! I've been wanting to see which bees make which combs for a long time!

    A small problem, on the 1.4.7 version it says on launch that I'm missing not enough items:any even though it is installed and working and all my other plugins load fine. Any ideas?
    Things I hate:
    1) Signatures, 2) Irony, 3) Lists

    Huh? that's odd. The only way i could see that happen is if you somehow got an NEI copy with a different mod id. can you post your ForgeModLoader-client-0.log?

    In other news - posted version 1.3, it's a minor update for NEI Plugins support.

    A little heads up about the future of this mod

    Starting from the next version the name will be changed to NEI Addons (unless someone can help me come up with a more interesting name :P) and as the name implies i will be adding plugins unrelated to forestry.

    Currently planned features for the next version:
    • EE3 Minium Stone - crafting overlay/handler (that [?] button)
    • AE Pattern Encoder - crafting overlay/handler
      • Will be able to create a pattern even if you don't have the items on you
      • Will require an optional server-side component for that to work in SMP
    • Possibly: Forestry tree breeding - is there any interest in that?

    All the components will be optional so if you can use just the ones you want (and have the related mods installed).

    Comments / suggestions / ideas are welcome.

    Hey there,

    There's a beta version of Forestry (2.2.3.7). Unfortunately if you have both that version and this plugin installed, the game will crash when trying to look up a recipe in NEI. SirSengir said you need to update your API, so I'm just leaving this here :).

    Yay for compatibility breaking API changes! But it's for the best i guess.

    Here's a version that works with the 2.2.3.x beta (tested with 2.2.3.8): NEI Bees Plugin 1.3.fb.r31

    Note: it is incompatible with the currently released forestry versions!

    Hey, I got your mod installed with Forestry 2.2.2.2 and NEI Plugins 1.0.8.7, on Minecraft 1.5.2.

    When I browse the list of bees, there are some that don't show recipes, or only incompletely, even with B:"Show Secret Mutations"=true set.

    - Darkened, Reddened and Omega bees (a whole line, I assume) have zero recipes associated with them other than which comb they produce. The products of their combs do not show up as having any use, either.
    - Vindictive bees do not show a recipe to get them (don't react to R), but the rest of the line does
    - The irradiated combs from this line don't show a centrifuge recipe
    - No combs besides the worldgen ones are shown in NEI

    Now, I don't know how much of the above things are simply due to unfinished implementation in Forestry, or not part of what your mod does, or due to a conflict with NEI Plugins or something similar... But in the off chance there is a bug, I think it should be reported :)

    So I am here to ask: Are things "working as intended" from your point of view?

    Darkened, Reddened and Omega bees is bees that available only on FTB map. Vindictive bees still unfinished and useless. And why NEI should show secter combs?

    So yes, all working as intented.

    Darkened / Reddened / Omega were active only on FTB maps back in the 1.2.5 era, they produced stuff for EE2 which doesn't show up for obvious reasons :P
    Vindictive & co and their combs are as mistaqur said are currently unfinished in forestry.

    Pretty much all that data is pulled straight out of forestry, so if some specific bee doesn't show products/mutations - they probably aren't there.

    About combs... not sure, i guess i could add an option to register all of them in NEI if i can get a list of them without too much pain... i'll take a look at that.

    But weren't the omega bees in 1.2.5 a part of equivalent exchange?

    I'm running a 1.5.2 build, with no EE anywhere in sight...
