why is the recipe that expensive? at least remove the diamond...

There will always be that kind of a moment at least once in everyone's life. That moment when your sitting there listening to someone going down memory lane, but really not listening at all.
Hello Coolthings42,
I am offering the players of my Tekkit Lite server the chance for us to create a new server with a custom modpack, and they had voted to include your mod. Is it okay to include it?
Sincerely,
qwertyjl

Oh, oh. No more buttered scones for me, mater. I'm off to play the grand piano. Pardon me while I fly my aeroplane.

I will get 100% Damage support up in the next build, (sometime in the next 2 days), I will let you know when Its up.
But, also be advised that mod support is not in this version, and it may be some time until Mods will be able to be deconstructed. In the meantime, you can use it if you want...
Just don't put the modpack up for public download through something that earns revenue. (like adf.ly)

Thanks! The players voted for it (I guess not knowing that there is no mod support), and I will make sure to make them know when this mod gets mod support, and that there currently isn't any. Having had my server for months, these players seem like the kind of people who will much enjoy this mod - even if it's only vanilla items. The modpack is hosted directly from my website, and always will be.

There's a mod called "uncrafter", it's the same thing, cheaper, and I thing better, cause this one can uncraft mod's items, whereas your's can't.
Personally, I like Deconstruction Table and do not see any problem with having two arguably similar mods in healthy competition; that is where we all win.
This kind of mod has been on our wishlist for ages and Deconstruction Table has the advantage that I can use it right now. As far as I know Uncrafter is still at 1.5.2.
I like that I can effectively trade my used items for a fair value rather than the full value had the item not been used as the latter would just be silly. I would prefer to see what value I can obtain first (and have the choice of removing my item from slot 0 again) before committing to the trade but at the moment, my item is traded immediately. This is not how the original crafting table works as I am able to remove component parts and decide not to build. It would be nice if that feature was added. As mentioned above the ability to deconstruct items from another mod would be brilliant but IMHO the basic tools, armor & weapons are fine. For what it does, I do not consider the recipe to be too expensive. This is a valuable item.

The latest update now has mod support- however not all mods will work. This is due to the way some mods add their recipes
Ic2 does not work at all, and some recipes from buildcraft 4 will work

Deconstruction Table has been updated to 1.6.4;
Changes:
Localizations are now pulled from a remote source:
pros:
-dont have to push an update every time someone gives me a localization file, or someone corrects one;
cons:
-my blocks, guis, etc. won't have names if you are not connected to the internet or if dropbox is offline/overloaded
Just tried to turn the blue and orange wool from a desert temple/pyramid into string and it didn't work. Is it possible for you to set this up?
A Wool to string and string to wool should be possible in Minecraft, but of course you can't pull string out of wool--even if that string is yarn based. Grrrr. LOL An added benefit might be the fact that the wool turns white and so can be dyed to a chosen color. Sort of like bleaching it. And if you didn't know how to bleach something, the Native Americans used the end result of the human liquid waste system after it sat around for a few days (If you can't figure out what I'm talking about, Google it.)

My Avatar? Supergirl. No, I'm not joking, that's really her. The artist is Michael Turner, cover of Superman/Batman #12. Look it up to get a better (larger) view of her.

I purposely left out any recipe containing dye or milk buckets due to that the way metadata works, you would get infinite ink sacs from colored wool, and infinite iron from cake, However, wool turning into string should not have been affected. I forgot to add recipes that allowed turning colored wool back to string. Should be fixed in the next update (which may be 1.7, I'll see how things go).
Thanks for addressing this to me.

Does this add inverted recipes from ones that gameRegistry.addRecipe (etc) adds? (Does it support uncrafting items added by mods?) or does it only work with vanilla recipes?
Right away it seems like a great way to convert charcoal to coal.

If the recipe is added through gameRegistry, CraftingManager.addRecipe() or CraftingManager.addShapelessRecipe(); then the recipe will be supported; however any recipes added through CraftingManager.instance().getRecipeList().add(...), or any other weird technique will not be supported (this includes all of IC2, and most of Buildcraft 4, I am unsure of BC 3)

Sweet, thanks, that is awesome. I had issue with Twilight Forest's Uncrafting Table for that reason. Good to know it will work on my mod items. Did you have to do anything fancy to return partial recipes for damaged armor? I have armor in my mod, and it would be good to know if it will return the same as vanilla armor.
