XNET'S PAXEL MOD
Xnet's paxel mod is back with the good old classic paxels.
For those of you who've never heard of it before: A Paxel is a combination tool of pickaxe, axe and shovel. And can therefor be used to destroy/dig stone, dirt and wood equivalently.
The great thing about this tool is that it will give you better space on your hotbar by merging 3 tools into 1.
FYI: Since #6 you can also enable torch placing on right click, which removes another item from your hotbar

Recipe:
The recipe can be changed in the config file:
Easy recipe:
Recuires a mod that adds the non-vanilla tools with the following ore-dictionary names:
pickaxe + Material
axe + Material
shovel + Material
Fore example: pickaxeEmerald, axeNetherrack and shovelObsidian.
We recommend our own tools mod
Config File:
There is a configuration file in "\config\Paxel.cfg" inside your minecraft folder.
Inside this file you can configure item-id's (only for 1.6.4 and earlier) and enable/disable things in this mod.
If you want anything added to the config-file, give us a hint
1) Install Forge (search internet or go to mcforge wiki to find out how)
2) Put the zip-file into the mods folder in your minecraft folder. (Do not extract!)

what is your policy on making paxels for tools from mods like twilight forest and eternal frost
also paxels should be able to be repaired with the base material like diamond paxel can be repaired with diamonds in the anvil and so on
About policy: I have no idea, if you mean "what's the policy for other mods? Can you make paxels of their tools?" then I don't know. If you mean "What's your policy about the paxels? Can other mods add paxels?" then the answer is: There has been a lot of mods adding paxels for minecraft, so as far as i know i have no right to tell anyone to not use paxels in their own mods...
Thank You! I love this mod since I started with 1.2.5!
Just one thing that I miss with this mod: I would love to use Obsidian Paxels again. I know there is a Flann Mod with Obsidian Tools, but I'm not a fan of all those extras (Steel, complicated Paxel recepies etc.). So Is there a possibility that you bring Obsidian Tools back to this mod?
Also: Is it possible that you can make the Paxels repairable with their Material (Diamond Paxels with Diamonds) on an Anvil? It's most of the times too expensive to use 7 Diamonds (cost of building a new Paxel) just to repair an enchanted one... Also I think it's cheaper for the levels (but I'm not sure)...
If you could (re-)implement those 2 things (Obsidian Tools and Repair with Material) this would be the perfect mod (again)!
Thank you again for making this!
About the obsidian tools: I will make material addons for paxels when i get to updating mods...
About repairing tools in anvil: I have to look into this, I know very little about the anvil, but I will look at it
Nice, But my multi-tool mod also has sword capabilities
The reason the paxel don't have the sword capabilities is because it ain't meant to have it. I like to have 2 tools, because often I use 2 different materials: 1 for tools and 1 for weapons (problem beeing having only one weapon of course...).
