So after reading the first post, I would like to point out that I am not using the Microsoft Launcher, nor am I using Windows 8, and I am getting the NPE error upon attempting to launch the game with this mod(I included the GuffCore mod linked in the original post, so I'm pretty sure that isn't the problem, unless there is an issue with the coremod download itself). I am using MultiMC 5 with the 1.7.10 version of the mod(s), and am running OS X Mavericks. Since I'm gonna go out on a limb and say a majority of people who have reported the issue don't use OS X, I thought this might be helpful to know: It doesn't appear to be Microsoft specific.
I'm running Minecraft through MultiMC using Java 8, if that would make a difference in any way.
Also including the crash log just for the sake of being thorough.

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I finally have some news! We looked for a fix for months, and we finally have one! Scripts are still in the mods, they still behave like they were intended, except now they will actually load and be usable by the majority of players. I know it has been frustrating to not be able to use the mod, and I sympathize - it has been a frustration for me as well. I should have some updates for you shortly, we are working on getting a few minor details worked out right now. I just wanted to let everyone know that the wait is finally over, and that I can continue to develop Plunder Rummage and RSMC. I apologize that it took this long, we've all had a rather busy year.
As always, if there are any questions, feel free to direct them to me privately or on this thread.
Greetings treasure hunters!

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
I have good news, but it may disappoint many of you. I have very little time these days, between family, friends, school, work, and other things, that I find it incredibly difficult to carry several side projects. I'm sure many have already realized this - Plunder Rummage is nearly dead due to my lack of time. I apologize for this, but there is only so much that can be done.
Here's what I'm going to do. RSMC is my primary project, and it is MASSIVE. So massive that it requires a lot of time to make it work well. If you'd like to view the decision I have made, please read this reddit poll. This decision will revive Plunder Rummage and allow it to continue to be developed and released. Not to mention, these mods will complement one another very well.
There is no telling what the future holds, but depending on time constraints, it may be possible to allow Plunder Rummage to continue on its own. For now, though, this is the best course of action to ensure two mods go forth instead of just one.

Thank you. As long as an update containing the fix is uploaded, we can wait on future features while RSMC is being developed. That is all I ask.
So, how's modding? Hopefully the massive part of RSMC is close to, if not completely, over with. This mod is getting quite old, and might die unless someone can revive it. If you simply do not have the time to continue this mod, I'd prefer if you either released your source code so someone can continue it, or at the very least brought in another experienced modder to continue it in your absence. Of course, you can simply let it die, but I'm sure a lot of minecrafters would be quite saddened to see it go.
The mod has been updated for 1.7.10 with the scripting system fix. It can be downloaded from here, and the link to the required GuffCore dependency can be found in the changelog as well.

Thanks, fixed the links in that post and the title post. Also, you already have this version, it's the one I sent to you before - no need to download them again as nothing has changed.
What exactly are the Wood Chips, Rai Stones etc for? They don't seem to be craftable into anything, but WAILA shows they're from Guff's Core...What's are they?

They are part of the valuation system in GuffCore that is used by some of my other mods.

Hey, the NPE? Yeah, that NPE?
MacOSX, Java 8 update 60. New launcher. Got it.
I feed off changelogs.
Asking for updates is spam. Really.
I make some mods that are pathetically slow to update. Join in on the wait here and here.
Read my last post on the previous page please.

So, the current update includes the fix to the script loading? If so, I'm downloading.

No the current download is very old. It does NOT include the fix.

Good news everyone,
The mod has been updated for 1.7.10 with the scripting system fix. It can be downloaded from here, and the link to the required GuffCore dependency can be found in the changelog as well.

Link is broken. Is it 2.0.0.0?

Thanks, fixed the links in that post and the title post. Also, you already have this version, it's the one I sent to you before - no need to download them again as nothing has changed.

What exactly are the Wood Chips, Rai Stones etc for? They don't seem to be craftable into anything, but WAILA shows they're from Guff's Core...What's are they?
They are part of the valuation system in GuffCore that is used by some of my other mods.

Ah, thanks for the quick response. Bit worried about what it says in the configs about disabling them having bad effects on mods, though. x: Ah well.
Plunder Rummage doesn't use them, so if you're not using RSMC then it is safe to disable them.
