Do you have other mods that work? Have you installed Forge correctly? Please post your ForgeModLoader Log.
Hi, I tried your mod on 1.5.1 but I seems to only be able to make the cardboard sheets. The reciepe don't show in my craftguide neither, and my minecraft is almost vanilla, (only forge, optifine, a map, the craftguide and a sprint mod). I downloaded it twice from different sources and the files are exactly the same so I'm out of options.

Boxes isn't equipped to add its recipe to Craftguide (I'll take a look into that soon), so it shouldn't be showing up in there, but the recipe should otherwise work. Did you try the recipe depicted in the post?
This is a really awesome mod! If you want to see the mod review, come to my channel, sub, and wait for it to upload! I cant wait to do a review of this! www.youtube.com/Minecraftarains
My suggestions to make more mods are (combining with your ideas)
Upgrade system
Safes
Crates
Mail system
Mine cart system
Trains
Better chests
Extra storage
Extra Furnature
I'm not the creator of the mod or anything, but I really think that these ideas are taking away the main purpose of the mod, the mod is supposed to be for boxes, and is called "The boxes mod".

Alright, I tought all reciepes showed in the craftguide, too bad, but i still refuse any other way of knowing reciepes (i hate nei and tmi and the 2 other mods that provide receipes straight on the crafting table), I like some difficulty and the craftguide is perfect for that, you got to use your memory a little is what I say...
I'll try your mod again, but what is the central ingredient again? I did try it with clay, but it's more exotic than that, isn't it?

Ok, I made the box, but it is useless to me since the shift key do nothing, to open it i must use it and in that optic, a backpack is far better.
My guess is I would need nei but i won't install that, so I'm back trying to find a way to expand that twice too small inventory; when you got 65 mods installed, that inventory is a real pain in the a**...
I'll try it again later with a blank installation of minecraft, in case the shift key start working, but I doubt it since I got no mod using that key.

As stated in the OP, that feature requires NEI. There is nothing I can do to change this.
Backpacks can't really provide mass transport correctly, now can they? When redpower is updated I will definitely use these as lag-free mass item transport.
Using this mod with 1.5.1 and forge #640 and the box inventory gui is black.
what should i do?
Unfortunately, I am unable to replicate the problem, but I think I know where the issue is and fixed it. I'll get it into the next release (which should be in the next couple of days). Thank you for letting me know about this. I'll have the (hopeful) fix out soon.
Hello,
I would really like to include this mod in my public modpack. I would give you full credit for the mod, and provide people with a link to this forum post. Would I be allowed to include it?
Hey, there's a glitch I've found with InventoryTweaks. If I try to hit the Sort Inventory key while looking in a box, it makes my entire inventory go berserk, Sorting items into and out of the box and my hotbar. Could you fix this?

If you are holding cardboard in your inventory, and you craft a label and shift-click it into your inventory from the crafting bench, it will be added to the cardboard stack. Also, if you are holding cardboard into your inventory, and you pick up a label that is on the ground, the label will add to the cardboard stack.
This also works in reverse; if you have a label in your inventory, and you pick up cardboard from the ground, the cardboard will add to the label stack. (Same for shift-clicking cardboard from the crafting bench)

It looks like adfly is having problems. Please consider trying again later.

I just added an Old Versions section to the OP.

I hope that made sense.
