As an admin for a huge creative server, I just realized how much I depend upon TukMC. Since the update to 1.5.2, I really miss the features you put into this wonderful mod. This is easily the best HUD I have ever used. Keep up the great work!

You've made my life so much easier and far more attractive with your mod. Love it!!!

Found a simple problem so far...

^^ Three images shows the problem.. first one is highlighting 3rd to last space and no problems .. 2nd image highlighting last space and first is blacked out then.. last image is highlighting the first spot and first one is black ...

EDIT: Also blacks first block on blocks 2,4,5,6 .. not 3,7,8

Not sure what happened, but I go to load Minecraft 1.5.1, and it gets to the menu screen. I select the world I want to play, and then immediately I get SHUTTING DOWN INTERNAL SERVER with the following error:

^^ Three images shows the problem.. first one is highlighting 3rd to last space and no problems .. 2nd image highlighting last space and first is blacked out then.. last image is highlighting the first spot and first one is black ...

EDIT: Also blacks first block on blocks 2,4,5,6 .. not 3,7,8

I see no problems here, the intended behavior is for empty slots to not have an outline.

Open your mods folder, delete the old TukMC and download 3.0.3_a, drop it in and it should be fine.

Where are the configuration files stored and is there a way to stop tukmc from checking for updates?

I would like to know if there is a way to disable the chat. I use TabbyChat since its far more useful as an admin. I like everything else as is, but the chat isn't versatile enough to handle the work I do.

No, however I'd like to request features multi-line messages and certain keyword hiding to TukMC

Also, a weird but awesome thing happened to me: bigger chat log!
I'm not sure how I got it but on one of my computers I has it, TukMC works fine.
I also have few mods but only difference between those is TooManyItems which short-chatlog-comp doesn't have...

Will the 1.5.2 version work with 1.5.1? My server can't update to 1.5.2 and I'm getting annoyed by the update screen every time I log on.

Thanks for all the great work!

You can disable the update screen in the menu; use the button that says "Update Checker" and has the green strip beside it.

@Nekroze, the config is stored at /minecraftdir/tukmc/cache/tukmc.dat (It is in NBT format, so you will have to use an NBT editor to touch it at all.)

Not as of the latest update, I am working on this but it is a bit complicated due to the way that Minecraft deals with chat windows.

Honestly, my mod is no example of how to do this, you'd probably want to take a look at a bit of MinecraftForge's inner workings. There recently has been some changes to include event hooks for rendering HUD elements. You can see some of those mentioned hooks in this GitHub commit.(Thanks to Vazkii for the link)

Edit: I'm not sure this commit is in the recommended forge, but I'm willing to bet that it will be put into the recommended version soon.

I will tell you though how I/Vazkii have been doing it. tickEnd event handler, pretty much sets Minecraft.ingameGui to my GuiIngame class whenever the vanilla GuiIngame would be displaying, effectively overwriting it.
