Hope that helps finding the bug.
It's not a bug, there is a conflicting ID with mekanism. Find whichever block/item is using ID 3000 and change it or change Minor Alchemy's AEC ID.
Now that I can use the alchemizer, I have a suggestion:

The way it works now forces me to fill the grid with, say, 15 stacks of coblestone and put my existing container into the 16th slot. I get a new container and have to put it into the 16th slot again.
If the whole grid would be consumed at once, that would be much less work.

I already fixed that I think. Delete vanilla.cvl to refresh it and if it still works, delete those lines yourself.

Hey everyone, I have some awesome news! The first version available for Minecraft 1.5.1 racked up 632 downloads in its two weeks of uptime, which is 273 downloads more than all of the previous versions put together! That's quite impressive in the small amount of time it has active. However, I've put up the downloads for the newest version of Minor Alchemy, which now takes into account stack sizes in both the Smashing grid and the cloning line. This means you can mash up to 16 full stacks of items at a time, which will prove to be much faster than before. It also means you can clone full stacks now, which will also prove to make cloning faster.
Now, let's see if we can be that previous download record and go for 900 before the next update!

Not a joke. I considered that I had a bunch of people wanting it to go faster so I just gave them what they wanted so I don't have to get suggestions for it again.
I have two ideas.
1. There is 2 CV values: CVI and CVO. CVI is Input and CVO is output. Every item produces less CV than its worth, The amount it will produce is the Output. The amount it costs is the Input. This would be a Balancing feature, A small loss feature would fix this mod. Id imagine the CVO by default would be CVI*0.75 even though a 25% loss rate isn't that bad.
(Note that current CV values would make sense to be the CVI values).
2. There is an option in the config that allows you to put it into Hardcore Mode. Hardcore mode would be customized. There is 2 options in the Config for Hardcore Mode. A CVI and CVO multiplier. That means if I want it to be very hard I could make it so the CVO is 0.3 and the CVI is 3 meaning x0.3 Default CVO on all items and x3 Default CVI on all items meaning i need much more CV to get it. This would allow people to balance it to how they feel its balanced. *cough* Id pick 1 CVO and 15 CVI so everything costs 15x as much because about 4 Gold Ingots is not worth 1 Diamond... *cough*.
P.S. it is almost as good as EE2 and definitely much better than EE3!

Hope that helps finding the bug.
It's not a bug, there is a conflicting ID with mekanism. Find whichever block/item is using ID 3000 and change it or change Minor Alchemy's AEC ID.

It would be great if I could mash a whole stack of items at once into a single container.
The way it works now forces me to fill the grid with, say, 15 stacks of coblestone and put my existing container into the 16th slot. I get a new container and have to put it into the 16th slot again.
If the whole grid would be consumed at once, that would be much less work.
Shift click everything into the slots, then shift click some AEC back into your inventory, and then mash all of those together. I made it slow for balance purposes. The recipe to have access to the mod is pretty cheap so there had to be a drawback.

But speaking of balance, there is some kind of exploit when using MA together with a mod that can double the outcome of ores. Using IC2's macerator or Mekanism's enrichment chamber, you could macerate one iron ore to two iron dusts, smelt these to two iron ingots and then use the alchemizer to get two ores back. Maybe increasing the EV of the ores could help here. At least until there is a mod that tripples the outcome of ores.
Maybe you should just prevent the alchemizer from creating ores.
I already fixed that I think. Delete vanilla.cvl to refresh it and if it still works, delete those lines yourself.

1. There is 2 CV values: CVI and CVO. CVI is Input and CVO is output. Every item produces less CV than its worth, The amount it will produce is the Output. The amount it costs is the Input. This would be a Balancing feature, A small loss feature would fix this mod. Id imagine the CVO by default would be CVI*0.75 even though a 25% loss rate isn't that bad.
(Note that current CV values would make sense to be the CVI values).
2. There is an option in the config that allows you to put it into Hardcore Mode. Hardcore mode would be customized. There is 2 options in the Config for Hardcore Mode. A CVI and CVO multiplier. That means if I want it to be very hard I could make it so the CVO is 0.3 and the CVI is 3 meaning x0.3 Default CVO on all items and x3 Default CVI on all items meaning i need much more CV to get it. This would allow people to balance it to how they feel its balanced. *cough* Id pick 1 CVO and 15 CVI so everything costs 15x as much because about 4 Gold Ingots is not worth 1 Diamond... *cough*.
