This mod adds a new evil biome and world type, powerful monsters, and strong, magical armor. An evil is spreading across the land corrupting all in its path. Do you dare enter the Blighted land where the monsters you thought you knew have been mutated and twisted into even more dangerous abominations?
Modder's note: This is my first mod (With help from friends). Suggestions and constructive criticism would be appreciated.
Zombie Skeleton:
Shoots twice as fast as a skeleton and has more health than a zombie. Not too difficult 1v1, but watch out for hordes and spawners. Drops same things as skeleton.
Corrupted Creeper: Like creepers they explode. Just much bigger. They also leave behind a slime friend who will spread the mutating biome much quicker. Run twice as fast as a normal creeper. Drops gunpowder.
Diseased Spider: Has slightly more health than a normal spider. Venom causes nausea.
Mutant Jockey: Zombie skeleton riding a diseased spider. Where is your god now?
Rage:
Enderman that spawns fire around it when it is attacked. It will then spawn a ring of fire around it every time it teleports.
Recipes:
Armor: Crosis armor is stronger than diamond and more enchantable than gold.
Cosis Tools: Crafted the same way as all the other tools. Just replace the usual material with crosis ingots. There is a crosis sword too.
Installation: 1. Download ModLoader 2. Go to your AppData file (start>run; type "%appdata%") 3. delete "META-INF" from minecraft.jar 4. install Modloader 5. copy/paste all files from MutantBiome.zip into the minecraft.jar file 6. load up minecraft 7. enjoy

epic
edit: you should write more about the mobs in particular, how much damage they deal, where they spawn etc.
Other than that great first mod, here's a suggestion, add a herobrine-creeper that teleports That'd be really scary

Thank you for the suggestion. I think I'm going to do that now.
Adding some monsters to the mod, some new blocks, and maybe a few tools. I really want to implement multiplayer, but all the tutorials I find are outdated. Does anyone know of a good modding tutorial that explains it?
great mod, tons of potential, maybe mobs in the biome give you poison when you use a sword on them? this mod would also not be complete without mutant spiders with a 1% chance of spawning with a zombie skeleton jockey (maybe more, because it is a mutant biome?).

Funny you mention that because I'm putting the spiders in next update.

Hello everyone. I'm sorry it is taking so long to update, but there is one thing I just can't get to work. Once I have that fixed I'll post the update. Really sorry for all the crashes.

Hi tntc!!! ur awesome!!!
BTW this mod is epic! Its your first mod? WOW
Funny you mention that because I'm putting the spiders in next update.
I have only tested it with regular ModLoader. Some people tell me mods that work with ModLoader work with Forge but I haven't tried it yet.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm working on the problem.
