Hmmm, I can't seem to reproduce this. I'm getting pretty close to a new release, maybe you can try to reproduce the crash on your end after my next release and report back. There will be a render-disable option in the config file so you can recover your world.
I know this is unlikely but could you make an arrow bin and ammo boxes(I know ammo boxes are more then likely a no)
idea arrow bins would be sort of like a coat rack only with 4 quivers on them and only one block tall (can be stacked) each quiver can hold 2 stacks of arrows and drops them when right clicked.
I have thought about an arrow bin of sorts. I was thinking more along the lines of a quiver that could be set down on a specific stand and the player would be able to see the arrows sticking out of it. Then it could be picked up and the arrows should be able to be used while inside the quiver. I start thinking about that stuff though and it almost makes me want to do a spinoff fletching mod, but then there are a few mods venturing into the territory of fletching and I already got my hands full with stuff I want to do now. I might revisit the quiver idea though eventually if no one else beats me to it.
Yes, I do have plans for a natua woods addon. As of 1.6 he has slabs, so probably after my next release of BiblioCraft (coming soon!) I will go ahead with at least the Natura addon because I already have texture sheets completed. (I did them the same time I did Forestry and BoP texture sheets) I want to do EBXL and Highlands as well, but those will take more time since I don't have textures made up and I would kind of like to get into the move to OBJ models before I work out more textures because it will greatly simplify the process for me.
Id really like to be able to set flower pots on your tables, the same way I can on regular blocks. I really like the way your tables look, and Im kinda bummed that I cant use them in that way
This was an unintended bug that has been fixed in my development version. So expect a fix for that in the next release.
I think the description of the mod is old, it doesn't say anything about the newer things in the mod, like the tables and the lanterns.
Indeed it is. I have fallen behind on keeping that up to date. I tried to keep the recipe area updated as I update the mod. I'll put up a disclaimer some time to mention its old until I get a chance to properly update it.
I connect buildcraft pipes with the mod installed and it crashes.

Hmmm, interesting. It looks like a book of some sort has an invalid NBT tag. Did you by chance spawn in a NEI enchanted book (with no real enchantment) and pipe it in? Then by chance are you wearing reading glasses/monocle/tinted glasses ? It looks like a rendering error when trying read the NBT tags which happens with the glasses on and when you look at a book that has invalid NBT. As far as buildcraft pipes, I can't seem to duplicate the crash with the bookcase and any of the different pipes. Seems to work real nice with pipes, no longer putting in stuff it shouldn't.
So... I have this mod but I have yet to come here and thank you for such an AWESOME mod. Seriously, out of all the "Decoration"-ish mods I've seen out there, this one takes the cake. Actual bookcases! Makes me want to write more in-game books (I already have two, heh). No more torch lights for me! They can stay in my mines and I can use these awesome lanterns instead. And the ability to reproduce books as well as enchanted books?! XP-wise expensive, but rightly so.
I'd give you a diamond, but I value emeralds more than diamonds, so... :emerald: (yea didn't work lol). Note to forums: Emerald icon desperately needed.
If possible, could you add one of the following for your next update:
Mountable chair, high chair, or stool.
I feel it would fit in having the table and the desk already implemented. I know this mod is not to aim at furnitures, but it just feels right to be sitting at a table or while printing books. An armor stand for the horse armor would also be great; heck, even a wooden stand that supports only the horse saddle would look nice in a barn setting. Are you also thinking about implementing cabinets and drawers too? What ever you end up doing, I'm loving it.

Stools? Sitting? Yes, please.
I'd love cabinets and drawers as well, but there is already a mod that adds a ton of furniture (something called Jammy's?)
But if Nuchaz did add at least cabinets, I'd like that a lot (seeing as we already have tables <3).

I know, I use the furniture mod from Mr. Cray. However, I'd rather use only this mod and not multiple mods as I prefer this mod over pure furniture mods. Plus, it becomes quite troublesome having tons of tables called "tables" but from different mods; in other words, I would prefer this mod to just have it all.
Hi Nuchaz! Your mod is good and really useful. But there is one problem. English is not my native. I am from Russia actually. And it is not comfortable to play minecraft with russian translation and your mod with english translation. Can you please add ability to translate your mod? Some .properties or .cfg files like in another mods(IC2, Buildcraft, etc.). It is not too hard, or just say me in which classes the names are listed, because i looked to your mod's code and didn't found any names of blocks and items, just a GUI names. In other countries people also likes you mod, but playing with another language isn't very comfortable.
Here's an idea: Display Cases for horizontal surfaces. I envisioned them as being glass cubes with a golden base. It would be great for displaying one truly amazing item (like maybe the Dragon Egg) that a wall-mounted case just wouldn't do for. Maybe there could also be an option to make the item spin! But again, these are just ideas.
P.S: Personally, I don't think the tables and fancy lamps look as true to Minecraft as the other blocks in the mod. Just saying.
Thanks everyone.

Hello. I have a small request - can you make able to "sign" name tags and maps into your mod? I think it is too expensive to spent 5 levels to this and especially anvil is not acceptable place for it.
Hello. I have a small request - can you make able to "sign" name tags and maps into your mod? I think it is too expensive to spent 5 levels to this and especially anvil is not acceptable place for it.
Five levels, honestly? That's too much? You serious? Come on now, that's extra cheap compared to how many levels it costs to do other things. Just naming an enchanted weapon/armor can cost up to 39 levels and forbid if you had a typo. Naming non enchanted stuff costs around 10, depending on the material of course. So I'd say spending a mere five levels is nothing. Easier to get to five than 10 or 39, that's for sure. Cause around 15 levels, your level gain per orb gets smaller and even smaller around 25 levels. And Minecraft's new "regional difficulty" means the longer you stay in an area, the more mobs will appear and the stronger they will get. Instant XP right there if you're willing to take the risk. Oh and let's not forget smelting/cooking stuff nets you XP as well.
And most (I said MOST) mod authors would rather make something different than replace what Minecraft already gives.
But that's my opinion on it.
On a side note, I know there's a few mods out there that have recipes for XP bottles and/or make it easier to get XP. Or just use NEI/Creative, or trade with villagers... hope you got your pockets lined with emeralds >_>

Time for an update! I will get around to responding to everyone with questions a little later. I almost had it earlier and derped and hit the back button on my browser and lost all my responses! Ah well, I figured I would go ahead and get my new update out and worry about catching up later.
V1.4.0- *New Block: Cookie Jar. Emits a redstone signal when opened. Catch someone with their hand in the cookie jar! Currently accepts any item and for each slot filled, up to 8, there will appear a cookie in the jar. *New Item: Clipboard. This is a checklist with up to 50 pages, much like the written book. But there are 9 tasks and 1 title per page. The player clicks on the desired line or title line to write in that task. Then there is a square next to each task. Clicking one time will draw a green checkmark. Clicking a second time changes it to a red X mark. Clicking a third time clear the box again. The Clipboard works on the desk and can be opened and edited. The Clipboard also remembers what page you were last on both when your holding and when its on the desk, even when it is transferred back and forth. Also, the title of the page that was last read will appear in the tooltip when hovering the mouse over the item in your inventory. *New Table Mechanic: Table Cloths! Simply use the vanilla carpets adding in 1.6 and right click the top of a table. The carpet will be applied as a table cloth and drape over the edges. To remove the table cloth, right click the top of the table with the screw gun. *New Item: Screw gun. Currently only used to removed table cloths from tables by right clicking the top of the table and to adjust items on tables by right clicking the sides of the table. I have some plans to make more uses out of this. This will kind of be a general tool for manipulating various elements in BiblioCraft. *New Item: Lock and Key. This is a creative mode only item for the time being, primarily intended for adventure map makers. When right clicked on a BiblioCraft block (not all work with it, but most do) you will get a message that says the block is locked. When the block is locked, it can only be accessed by the user who locked the block and cannot be destroyed in survival mode. The block can be unlocked by right clicking again only if you are the owner. If another user tries to unlock the block with a lock and key it will inform the player they are not the owner. *Upgraded Tape Measure: Now places a "marker pole" block when starting a measurement and also reads a real time display of the distance to that block in meters. The block is removed upon completing a measurement. The block is non-craftable and has no hit box so it cannot be destroyed by hand. If for some reason a block is not removed then simply starting a new measurment on the same block and completing the measurment will remove the block. *Custom language support using the new systems in Minecraft 1.6. Simply locate the en_US.lang file inside the BiblioCraft zip file at /assets/bibliocraft/lang/en_US.lang, copy and rename to your appropriate language and edit inside a text editor. If you share your .lang files on the forum here I will review and include them in the next release. *Fixed tables and desks not being a solid surface so that now flower pots and other items can be placed on top by sneak-clicking. *Fixed an armor stand crash when using the number keys. *Added emergency render crash recovery config option: There is now an option in the BiblioCraft.cfg to disable all rendering of blocks. This is a client side only temporary measure to allow the player to load a world that will not load due to some odd item or armor that was placed on a BiblioCraft block and causing the game to crash due to a rendering error and the world to not load. This allows the player to remove the problem item from the stand or shelf and then re-enable rendering in the config to return to normal. If this happens to you, Please report any such errors and include the error log so I can try to fix for a future release.
Any chance you can make keys that will open the lock they're assigned to for any player? Would be a nice addition for dungeons

Hmmm, I can't seem to reproduce this. I'm getting pretty close to a new release, maybe you can try to reproduce the crash on your end after my next release and report back. There will be a render-disable option in the config file so you can recover your world.
This was an unintended bug that has been fixed in my development version. So expect a fix for that in the next release.
Possibly. I'll look into craftguide and what it takes to support it when I get some time.
Indeed it is. I have fallen behind on keeping that up to date. I tried to keep the recipe area updated as I update the mod. I'll put up a disclaimer some time to mention its old until I get a chance to properly update it.
I'd give you a diamond, but I value emeralds more than diamonds, so... :emerald: (yea didn't work lol).
Note to forums: Emerald icon desperately needed.
Plus, it becomes quite troublesome having tons of tables called "tables" but from different mods; in other words, I would prefer this mod to just have it all.
that awesome mod?
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1690690-152161162-sspsmplan-unlit-torches-and-lanterns-v12828/page__st__160
P.S: Personally, I don't think the tables and fancy lamps look as true to Minecraft as the other blocks in the mod. Just saying.
Wait, what?
I have switched language to English, and game didn't crash o_O but in Russian language game crash
I said only about name tags and maps, not about items, weapons, armor or creatures eggs.
Try Better Anvils. It's exactly what it's for: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1576006-152better-anvils-removes-the-level-limit/
V1.4.0-
*New Block: Cookie Jar.
Enjoy!!
Any chance you can make keys that will open the lock they're assigned to for any player? Would be a nice addition for dungeons
*Edit* Never mind its fixed.
