(tables not thaaat important to me but i would still like it) Please answer this for me or see if you can get it fixed please!
P.S. if you could make your armor stand more like Risugami's armor stand i would be a massive fan of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an interesting mod. I really like these "keep things neat" mods, as I have a mild case of keeping everything tidy, and their functions but it's the aesthetical values that caught my eye. Keep it up!
LOL. I agree with you. I have a mild case of keeping things tidy as well. As for the mod, I think I'm going to check it out as it's a mod that iHasCupquake uses for her Minecraft Oasis series.
Is anyone having a problem where when I start up minecraft it intantly crashes?
Force download MC. To do this in 1.6, delete the 1.6.<version you installed it in> folder, then launch using that profile.
If you mean crashes as in it gives you a black screen, and never takes you to the main menu, you forgot to delete the Meta-INF folder when you installed Forge (Or possibly forgot to install forge).
Secondly,
Would it be possible to release a version for Bukkit? Also, the LWC permissions file is now a broken link.
This is a wonderful mod. I haven't gotten to do it yet, but I plan to build a library to keep track of the different mod info so I don't have to keep MC and web browser open at the the same time. This will help avoid lag-tasticness plus it just looks good! Your lamps are the best looking of the of the 2 other mods that feature them I have installed.

Hard crash when clicking an armor stand from Bibliocraft while holding a backpack from http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1492661-15x-16x-backpacks-v-11213/. I had to disable the mod in order to load the world. Apparently, Bibliocraft's armor stand thinks the backpacks are armor, and crashes trying to display them.

I'll have a closer look at those crashes and see what I can do. I do have a kind of "fix mode" I am going to implement into the next version where I will allow the player to disable all the renderers so the world can be loaded and problematic stuff can be removed from blocks. So at least, hopefully in the future, when these special cases come along players will be able to make a client side config change and re-load the world to at least save the world.
This is something on my list I would like to fix and I know why its happening, but I am not sure if I can very easy. I am implemented a config option to disable block rendering so you will be able to load your world and fetch the backpack then re-enable the block rendering via config file. So, kind of a work around at least for when these things happen.
I see someone already asked about EBXL, was wondering if you could possibly support Highlands? It doesn't add as much wood as either EBXL or BoP, but it's world generation is onpar (if not arguably superior) to BoP, it just adds a lot less content. I love BoP to death, but I feel they are adding way too much content that is usually added by other mods and the overlap is really messing with mod cohesion that I'm sure some people would agree with. So some alternate cross compatibility packs for other world gen mods for Bibliocraft would be swell.
It just happens me and my friends generated a new world to and included highlands in the mix, so I just became familiar with that mod shortly before reading you post. I would say there is a good chance I might do a highlands wood pack sometime down the road.
Is there any way to place objects on top of Bibliocraft's tables directly? Not as displayed flat icons, but normal building blocks. For example, with the current system, it is seemingly impossible to put a brewing stand on a table.
Currently there is a bug preventing some blocks to be placed on top of tables and desks. I do have a fix for that already in place in my dev version and that should be fixed in my next release. I can't say when that will be yet, I am having lots of fun adding some fun new little things to BiblioCraft and plan to wait till the stuff is ready before doing another release.
Just simply download the forge installer and click the install button with a newer version of forge. Then if you are using a separate profile other than the default forge one you will just need to edit your profile and use the drop down menu to select the newer version of forge.
Ok I think I need some help I've searcehd around the forum, maybe I did it wrong because I found nothings. So there it go, every time I craft an item it disapear instantly also when I'm going in creative to spawn me an item I get it and when I place it it diseaper again when I'M going into creative mode + ( NEI creative ) when I'm trying to spawn the item I,m getting no such item. I'm really clueless here since I have no bug report the mod seems to be loaded I really have no idea need some help.
Also my forge version is : 7.8.1.738 The server is running on a centOS 5 - 64 bits I see no error at start up of the server but in the config folders it seems that it's not creating bibliocraft.cfg but on the single player client version evrythings working
Also I'm on munecraft 1.5.2 with your lastest version for bibliocraft FOR 1.5.2
After searching through the dump of ForgeModLoader-server
I found this
2013-08-02 19:02:15 [WARNING] [ForgeModLoader] Zip file BiblioCraft.zip failed to read properly, it will be ignored
It looks like BiblioCraft isn't loading on the server. From the error I suspect the zip file got corrupted in some manor. Try re-downloading from here or copying your known working client version to the server.
Hey I've been getting into your mod today and playing with it on the 1.5.2 FTBUleashed pack and let me tell you it is awesome. I've been OCD about Minecraft since I got it and this helps me alot. I'm more of a Magical Studies kinda guy and they look great in my lab, and i would post the pics but I don't know how If someone can tell me how that would be really appreciated.
Also could you tell me how to change the config of you mod with the FTBLauncher. I tried and couldn't find it.
If you are doing this check this video (I didn't make it).About 1:55 there is a good view of the potions.
And now I part with a suggestion. I have a good plan for my Mage Tower I'm going to build but it won't look as good with the current way the Shelves act. Right now when you place the shelves like this
The 1st Shelve in the 1st row and the 2nd row Shelve don't connect and it looks funny.
I think the 1st Shelve in the 1st row and the Shelve in the 2nd row should join. Now I don't know how hard this would be to code but if Mojang can make chests do it you sure as hell can do it Maybe make it combine the inventory space?
Now I take my leave.

(P.S. Great mod)
Easiest way to post photos is to use a hosting service like imgur.com and get a direct link then use the "image" button on the forum to post it. Its also best to put them in spoiler tags as well.
To edit the config on the FTB, you should be able to find a folder for each modpack you install. Inside that folder there should be a config folder. If anything, just search your computer for BiblioCraft.cfg
Heh, I do like the look of them potion bottles in that video. Something to ponder.
I'm not sure I get exactly what you mean about the shelves, if you mean just a visual change or actually combining the inventories? I don't really see the need to combine inventories, esp when you can access them without the GUI.
The back pack mod updated and fixed the error that was causing armor stands with them to crash in this mod... still old world was lost.
any way love this mod and have some ideas though they may be requested already (to lazy to read through 76 pages)
weapons rack: sort of like the item rack for swords and things only it is a 1.25 block tall rack taht can hold 4 swords or other weapons.
barrel: a storage container used to hold liquids.
special note: if fill with water then add a II strength potion, it will change from holding water to holding 25 I strength potions (retrieve potions by right clicking with empty bottle)
carpeted tables: put carpet on table and it will position to fit over the hole thing.
I almost had a weapon rack kind of like you describe in the beginnings, but had too many issues with the tools looking good, which is why I changed over to the tool rack, it just seemed to look good with a wider variety of stuff. I might still bring back a sword specific type of rack at some point, I haven't really decided.
I'm not sure if want to get into doing liquids stuff or not. There is certainly some interesting stuff that can be done. I could add a golden keg. lol. I think though that the barrel idea with making large quantities of potions could be a cool mod to do on its own really.
As far as using carpet as a kind of table cloth ... well ... I don't want to give it away, but, I may have already been working on something along those lines. I guess only time will tell!
I just duplicated my Diamond Enchanted Armor, all i did was place my armor on the armor stand. And when i went to go get my armor since i was going on a long adventure the armor stayed there and i had armor in my inventory? And I can wear both of the sets. If you want i can show you a picture.
This is quite odd!, Let me know if you can reproduce this again and if so what version of minecraft/forge/bibliocraft you are using.
I'm having trouble with resource packs pushing their textures onto the wooden blocks. Any plans?
Do you mean textures that are replacements for my blocks?, or just vanilla wood textures? Currently, by design, a texture pack/resource pack with new woods won't change my blocks, they have their own texture sheets that have to be updated.
Or are you trying to make a resource pack and the textures aren't showing up on my blocks? I'll try to fix if that is the case.
Hey so i have a question why arent the wooden table, monocle, and golden lanterns on Ultimate FTB?!?!?!?! i maaaaaaaasssssssssssiiiiiiivvvvvllllyyyyyyyyy want a monocle and the golden lanterns!!!!
I believe the Ultimate FTB back is minecraft 1.4.7 and tables, lanterns, and all that good stuff didn't come until my 1.5 versions. Forge had only implemented the needed technology into the 1.5 versions. Only fix is for you to update to a newer pack or just install the mod yourself on a 1.6 setup so you can use the newer version.
It isn't compatible with Tecnic launcher and Voltz isn't it? Can you please make it work for Voltz too? It is a really confusing modpack and I don't know the recipes for all the items...
It should be compatible provided your using the correct version of BiblioCraft for whatever version of Minecraft/Forge that Voltz uses. Worst case is something conflicts and you would just need to change something in the config file, BiblioCraft is very configurable.

The latter. When I switch to a new resource pack, your decorations retain the vanilla wood look which may look out of place compared to 32x wood...
can someone help, I dounloaded the latest ver of the forge and the bibleocrat, I used magic launcher, I put forge on top and biblio on bottom, then pressed test, the minecraft opened up than closed it did it every time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plz help
This is a known issue that's been reported several times in this thread.
Actually, it was reported twice (3x including mine), and not readily visible. This forum's search tool is terrible. More to the point, the proposed workaround isn't available, so it does not count.
According to Eydamos, the problem has been fixed on his end in a silent update. I downloaded the latest version (1.12.15) and all seems well.

All proper Forge mods go in the .minecraft/mods folder. Move Bibliocraft and you'll be fine.

It was reported more than twice, but the exact number really isn't important. A search of "backpack" brings up multiple results for this issue.
My point, though, was that Nuchaz is aware of the issue - which he is - and that he is planning on a fix on his end. It's good to know that Eydamos was able to fix the issue for Backpacks, though the issue itself was not confined solely to that mod.

This is a known issue that's been reported several times in this thread.
It just happens me and my friends generated a new world to and included highlands in the mix, so I just became familiar with that mod shortly before reading you post. I would say there is a good chance I might do a highlands wood pack sometime down the road.
It looks like BiblioCraft isn't loading on the server. From the error I suspect the zip file got corrupted in some manor. Try re-downloading from here or copying your known working client version to the server.
I am really quite surprised at how many requests for chairs I have recieved now. I should do tally them up at some point just for fun.
But yeah, I might just have to get some chairs in here sometime.
This is quite odd!, Let me know if you can reproduce this again and if so what version of minecraft/forge/bibliocraft you are using.
This seems to be a popular request, and I might do it, it just means using more block ID's really.
First off yay thanks for the picture help
Again thanks for the config help.
Glad you like the potions.
And now the pictures and the shelves.

I would have some healing potions but I used them in Thaumcraft
Ok and now the shelves.

I just wanted the shelves on the left to connect. together. Just a cosmetic thing. Sorry for the confusion
Sorry if I screwed anything up. This is like my 1st time using spoilers and images.
