Howdy again! I was playing around with my now fully working stargate, and noticed that when telling the gate that I dialled out from to disconnect from its current connection, for the 2 seconds it takes to disconnect, the gate seems to think there's an incoming gate signal. This seems to be borking up a program I'm working on, since I am working on a way to confirm incoming connections before allowing them. Is this a bug or something that can't be fixed. Thanks in advance
I had this working fine on my server at Exodus Hosting and then took it offline and let my son play with a flat world. After that they migrated my server and upgraded to 1.8 and now I can't get the Stargate World to work. Are there any tricks to get it to behave and work again? I can get the mod to load as I see the blocks in the inventory and the stargates are all there but not functional. If I place a stargate block it briefly appears then vanishes and removes itself from my bar.
I've tried both the 1.9 and 1.8.6 versions under both craftbukkit 1.7.10 and spigot 1.7.10
Setup: Place power unit & attach to IC2 power source until full. Break block and pick-up into inventory.
Issue: On mouse roll-over of filled power unit in inventory game crashes.

Just the client or the server also crashes? If it's just the game in solo you will see "Internal server is shutting down" before to see the crash report.
If you don't see this, it's a server crash as well.

I have another idea for you: a config option in order to make stargates generated in desert have only 7 chevrons instead of 9.
And also an update to make a stargate has unlimited energy, not craftable, only obtainable in creative.
For a far next update of the address system (in 1.8 or 1.9) I have that idea :
- 7 chevrons : call a stargate in the same dimension (1,2,3 for x; 4,5,6 for z; 7 always 'a').
- 8 chevrons : call a stargate in another dimension (1,2,3,4,5,6 for x and z; 7,8 for the dimension id).
- 9 chevrons : call a stargate in another server (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 as above; 9 for the server id).
Many servers use BungeeCord or something like that to allow players to switch through different servers in a same network. If SGCraft would be installed on that kind of system, it could be really useful. ^^ Though, for the 9th chevron, an option to decide what server is what symbol. 26 servers maximum, but many of servers has less than that.
And admins would be able to create stargates that needs 7 chevrons instead of 6 with the 7th chevron is different than 'a' and are only callable in the same dimension. For example: a stargate in an admin castle, that players normally cannot go there.

Hey everyone I wrote a DHD program for ComputerCraft and recently added support for SGCraft. If you'd like to check it out, it's called ccDHD. If you have any questions, problems, bug reports, etc., please post in the ccDHD thread on the ComputerCraft forums or PM me on these forums.
thatParadox also released a pretty awesome DHD program for SGCraft. Video and links here:
Please help, the mod works fine wit i can't connect to stargazes. I have the DHD in range and it is connected, I wrote down the address. I have tried multiple times. Plz help.
I was using the 1.7.10 version. It doesn't work. I tried the same steps in the 1.6.4 version and it works great. Please fix this the 1.7.10 version is much cooler looking.
Maybe an incompatible version of IC2? The version you have (2.2.710) isn't quite the same as the one I tested with (2.2.611).
Doubt its the IC2. I've run almost every update in the past 6 months (update it almost daily, so I end up running nearly every version for at least a day), and I've not had an IC2 related crash in several months. I'm running ..711 as of yesterday.
Not at the moment, sorry, because the recipe for the RF-driven power unit depends on Thermal Expansion items. I'll look into making it more general.
Kodos
I've tried both the 1.9 and 1.8.6 versions under both craftbukkit 1.7.10 and spigot 1.7.10
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you don't see this, it's a server crash as well.
Interesting. It wasn't crashing for me, but it wasn't rendering the tooltip properly either. Fix uploaded!
And also an update to make a stargate has unlimited energy, not craftable, only obtainable in creative.
==========================================================================
For example: a stargate in an admin castle, that players normally cannot go there.
thatParadox also released a pretty awesome DHD program for SGCraft. Video and links here:
Thanks for the awesome mod, Greg_Ewing!
yes I have enough naquadah in each star gate. It didn't even give me the error message that says its to a valid address
Maybe make that stargates with 9 chevrons and base camouflage are their 9 chevrons visible should be a good idea.
Are there any new items/features planned for SGCraft's long-term future? If so- What are you currently considering/working on?
Hey Greg_Ewing,
I'm getting this crash every time I try to open the GUI for the IC2 Stargate Power Unit. Any ideas? Your help would be most appreciated!
Hard to tell what's happening there, because none of my classes are mentioned in the traceback.
