OK, so that issue I had before: turns out it wasn't fixed by updating. It's just not as common now. If you are pouring a liquid from the Smeltery into the Basin, and look at the Controller, it will crash the client. 1.4.2.7 is the version.
EDIT: Also, is it intended that when you right click with axes (solid iron axe in my case) it will place a torch?
I hope this has not been asked yet. I am experiencing a bug with FTB Unleashed, i do not get any of the result items in the result try. I put a pattern and an iron ingot in and nothing shows on the right in the part builder. Same with the tool station, after /giving myself the basic iron pickaxe parts. I placed them in the tool station and the resulting pickaxe was not in the result window.
If you actually looked at the OP, you would see that this is intentional. Specifically, metal parts are made ONLY from the smeltery. And I bet you didn't use a rod, and instead used a stick, which doesn't work. Or even more simple, you didn't even put the parts in the correct order...

Maybe even worst than that, he tried in a regular crafting table...
I'm playing with the version of the mod currently packaged with Direwolf20's modpack and I have two gamebreaking bugs (gamebreaking in that they make the game tons easier and allow for circumventing/duping)
1. Adding both Moss and Electric to a tool, charging the tool and then allowing the moss to repair it to remove the bar below it makes the tool have infinite durability.
2. If you place metals from other mods (e.g. silver or lead) in the smeltery, then pour them into an ingot cast there is about an 80% chance that you will get two ingots from the one cast. This allows you to place one ingot in the smeltery, cast it, then get two ingots back.
thanks for backporting some of the new stuff and bugfixes to the 1.5 version diyo, it's appreciated, trust me we do (sort of, only to stay up to date with mods) want to update to 1.6, but it's gonna be a while still.

Hi there, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong? but whenever I die with my knapsack on it appears that all of my items inside it are lost? This is very annoying and like I said I can't seem to think of anything that I am doing wrong!
I would appreciate if this could be fixed or if someone could tell me what's happening if it's not a bug!
Thanks,
Monkey_Nuts
The metal ores in the smeltery are supposed to give 2 ingots each, its like the pulverizer or macerator so that behavior is normal.
For the tool, I don't think its OP, if you have the power to recharge it, you can do it, if you don't mother nature will do it for you, just wait...
mDiyo.... I just found an INSANE bug with arrows. It seems there is an arrow dupe bug that can let you infinitely duplicate arrows in the tool forge. I was trying to pull some arrows out of my forge with a shift-click (having a similar stack in my inventory...) and instead of filling that stack? It filled my inventory. With about 500+ arrows.
From what it seems, if you shift click from the output with more than one arrow in the inventory of the forge, it pulls out the exact same amount of arrows left in the stack, and only minuses a single arrow from the stack in the forge. It will then keep doing this until empty. Also duplicates modifiers as well. Another, less serious, bug is that if you put a diamond on your arrows for whatever reason, it makes them have a durability.
I have a bug. I can't craft anything in the part builder using ingots.
That's not a bug. Metal parts need to be smelted in the smeltery using casts. See the video in the first post.
I do have a bug. In the 1.6.2 version I sometimes randomly can't eat food until I restart.
Also, it would be nice if the instructions mentioned that the faucets only work when put on drains. Right now the fact that they list 1 faucet on the list of things a functional forge needs but drains are listed as optional suggests otherwise.
How the heck do you make a tough tool rod? I've been looking for days now and nobody talks about it.
It just needs a different pattern, made in the Stencil Table, and then make it like any other part, except instead of, say, one block of cobblestone, you need three.
almost forgot about this, but remembered by watching one of dire's videos, but the TCON glass is far too easy to break even with bare hands, i've accidentally knocked out plenty of windows by mistake, can we have a config setting?
[edit] forgot i live inside of dartcraft armor, it's literally one click to break with that one using bare hands, equal with a tool [/edit]

Definitely my favorite mod now, just wish that you could use diamonds to make tools rather than just upgrading them because I have 2 and a half stacks of them. :/ But I guess having a diamond tipped diamond pickaxe head wouldn't make any sense.

I think he means tanks from other mods. What you're thinking of is the casting basin.
If I recall, one solution would be to run a pipe from the tank to a smeltery drain without a faucet.
