The day someone asks where the wiki is is the day my documentation is not enough... I'll come up with something better. Perhaps a book made out of patterns? Regardless, I'm slicing my sprite sheets into pieces in preparation for the API. Prepare for more tools soon. ;D
darkuschicken12: I've seen that post a few times. It's informative and thought-provoking, but I have a couple other things in mind for boats.
OK THATS AWESOME i cant wait to see what you do with them
Hey, since this mod's Energy System, the EN is Compat with IC2's energy system, the EU, why not take it a step further and make it also interatct with Red Power 2 's Bluetricity as well as Universal Electricity? Or even Buildcraft's MJ?
I stumbled across this recently. It's quite old, even before powered rails. Mechanical power has been a long time coming in Minecraft.
I have all of the API and render work done. Now it's time to add more content. I'm thinking thaumium and metallurgy materials, RP2 gems as modifiers, and a book that explains everything about everything else made from patterns.
elemenster: Because I would've had to spend another three days making the frying pans do what they're supposed to.
Skiewolve: I already have working code for Universal Electricity. I can't support it though; Calclavia makes breaking changes to the API between Minecraft versions and I will not tolerate being forced to update the mod every week. Blutricity makes sense, I'm looking into it. Buildcraft's pneumatic pressure makes absolutely no sense without some kind of electric converter.

Is that a wind-powered booster track I see? If not, wtf is it?

Ooooh, sounds like you might be able to come up with adding Mechanical power sooner than expected! I look forward to grinding wheat into Flour so that I can increase the amount of Bread we can make. Food can get really scarce sometimes, especially when you are only able to make bread, which is the only reliable food source early on in Vanilla Minecraft. I could probably see you doing something where both the Gearboxes and the poles that connect them can be made with different materials. It would be awesome to try it out.
I also look forward to seeing what I'll be able to make when using the materials from ThaumCraft, Metallurgy and the RP2 gems. I would love to see what modifiers the RP2 Gems would give to my tools and weapons, not to mention that I would have a lot of fun creating stuff with TC using the metals from ThaumCraft and Metallurgy. By the way, have you thought about what uses Gold, the Ender Pearl and Blaze Rod/Powder could have by any chance?

This is looking promising. It gets a little weird when shifting sizes, but overall it's not too bad.
Optical: I believe so. Everything spins, that's all that matters.
Xalithar_Daskel: Blaze powder already adds the Fiery modifier. It sets things on fire. I haven't come up with a good use for ender pearls or gold yet, but I do want to use them.

Liking the look of those books. I'm guessing they're going to be our in-game informative tools? It's driving me nuts though trying to figure out what a boat like a minecart would be. A minecart like a boat... yes... But this? I guess time shall tell.

I'm liking the recent push to true mechanical power by various modders. I look forward to what you shall bring to our worlds!

Possibly for the gold, maybe give the tool a 1/100 (or something, that may be too common) to have an effect akin to the touch of midas. Have the mob attacked turn into gold blocks, the number being the rough size of them. Seeing as they are gold blocks, it would have to be very uncommon.
Ender pearls could simply give you the ability to blink forward a bit. Uses up more durability, or maybe uses enderpearls in your inventory as fuel. Because it's own the tool, it doesn't give you the full effect of a thrown enderpearl (wherever it lands), but instead just a short way forward.

Another suggestion: Perhaps some way to dispose of unwanted broken tools, and get *something* in return.

glitch or bug found!
when you get a part by part builder block
and when you shiftclick it and it will give 2 of them
(thisa glitch is useful...I mean its a serious problem!)
There were a few too many things broken for me to leave it alone... as such, the only new content is in this item:
Mostly it's been API and texture work. I have utterly broke every texture pack; 1.5 has arrived early for TConstruct, it seems.
Optical: There will be a disassembly table in the future. Tools won't be the only thing it takes apart... heheh. Turning monsters into gold blocks would be hilarious, but too good. Blinking with ender pearls makes logical sense, but code-wise... hard to map to controls, hard to pull off. It could override the right-click ability perhaps. I'll have to think about that one.

Right-click for ender tools sounds good to me, 'twas not like it was already used.
For the gold, I figured it would have to an incredibly small chance. Thinking about it, 1/100 is way too common I guess. Apple's are fairly common with a 1/200 chance... I'd be happy with the idea of the guy above, 'tis a bit more balanced, as it's only cosmetic from what I gather:
Suggestion for gold: A tiny tiny chance the mob will turn into a golden statue you can break and carry around and place them as decorations.
Looking forward to what this dissasembler shall bring us!
I seem to be looking forward to everything you do!!

Hmm, it seems I've run into a slight issue with the latest version (1.1.0).
The console has been spamming:
########## GL ERROR ##########
@ Post render
1283: Stack overflow
when I've encounted blank items in NEI:
My guess is because of the changes in the render code you mentioned in the change log. This isn't a killer though thankfully, as it is only in NEI where the render is screwed, and not in the inventory/world.

Putting out buggy code... that's what I get for rushing with things. Testing things 95% instead of 100% causes stoopid problems.
Avskygod0: Gold statues is an excellent idea. That one's going to take some time and a bored day, but eventually.
Optical: I don't test with NEI. It's odd that some of the tools are rendering but not others. I have to wonder what ChickenBones is doing to run the video buffer over...
Naxza: I forgot to remove one line of debug code. Oops? >.<
How's that video coming by the way? Things are pretty stable for the moment. Delivering content in chunks makes things interesting.
Here's a slightly more practical use for gold. As a tool head, it enjoys a 25% boost to all effects granted from tool modification, as a binding or handle, 10%. These stack If a tool is made EXCLUSIVELY out of gold, then you get a 45% boost to all tool modification effects, this includes even obtaining enchantments higher than are generally allowed in Minecraft, such as Looting/Fortune V, or Fire Aspect V. This is meant to mirror the fact that golden vanilla tools have high enchantability.
A diamond would grant a full gold tool (that uses three components) 725 durability, instead of 500.
An emerald would grant 72% more durability instead of 50%.
Moss would repair the tool 45% faster than it does any other tool.
And so on and so forth.
As a downside, Gold tools are incredibly fragile. While not as fragile as paper, it's base durability is the same as wood(about 60 uses), and as a handle material, it has a 0.50x durability modifier.(About 30 uses total.) However, if augmented right, it could gain 1298 durability with a Diamond and Emerald.
It's base speed is 6, but with 2x of haste it will grow to 11.8. Just slightly faster than an Obsidian pickaxe with 2x of haste. (Incidentally, an obsidian pickaxe with a gold handle and binding ALSO grows to 11.8 in mining speed.)

It IndustrialCraft 2 support, you need IC2 to get it.
