Thank you for such a wonderful Mod. But may I ask, why it does not work with Forge? And also, even though I have set some blocks to not be seen, I am still seeing them when using x-ray i.e flowers. Also, why is grass not an option in the block menu as I'd like to turn that off too

It does work with Forge when you extend LiteLoader from Forge. Not at all difficult and enables quite few Mods that are not (probably will never be) Forge capable.

It does work with Forge; you just need to put forge in the mods/1.11.2 folder or use Liteloader Installer to extend it from the Forge profile.
Some blocks don't work with this mod because they override Block.shouldSideBeRendered, which this mods hooks into. I'm planning to find another hook for this mod this weekend, but I'm planning to work on other projects right now in my free time (mainly, ControlPack, pfsshell, and ps2sdk), so I may not get to it.
Liteloader Installer to extend it from the Forge profile? How do I do that? I have been using your mod with liteloader, not forge, I'm just getting used to using mods lol

For some reason it only shows certain blocks when I look at it from a certain angle, I could see Iron then turn a little to the right and see nothing where it just was, is this something on my end that I can fix?
No, it's a problem with how newer versions of Minecraft renders blocks with newer graphics cards. I think this problem occurs since 1.8, and I'm not sure how to fix it "properly",
I'm sorry, I'm going to have to somewhat plug another x-ray mod, the one by Oclusion... he/she seems to have it figured out... since I started with your's I'd love to stick with yours but the other one works for the most part, perfectly... if you look at that mod and break it down and possibly clean it up where needed, maybe your's will be even better than that...

I'm planning on doing a complete overhaul of my Minecraft mods this weekend like WorldDownloader is, merging all the versions into one branch (instead of multiple branches), putting the mod on Github (instead of Bintray), and receiving update information from Github (instead of putting a number on Pastebin). I'll need to fix my Gradle setup first, however.
If everything goes well, I'll look at other X-ray mods and see how they hook into the game.
Edit: I got my gradle fixed by downgrading to 2.14.1. I'll most likely have time to work on this mod this weekend.
I had a witty remark about a mod that is somewhat dead and you taking it over, but apparently it didn't post... never mind though, it was a joke... just trying to find someone to fix the one that is there for 1.10.2... lol

Please help.
I can't get this fine piece of programing to work.
I've installed a fresh copy of Minecraft 1.11.2
Installed the correct forge api.
Downloaded the xray litemod file and dropped it into the mods directory. ( A few different files. All correct versions files )
Started the game and selected the forge profile.
It never works.
Am I doing something wrong ? Anyone else having issue?
Use liteloader: http://www.liteloader.com/download

Look at the "installation" section of http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1290155-liteloader
Will try thank you!
That solved the problem ! Thank you.
Now just all the xrayed blocks are black ?
You need to set the gamma to 10000 in options.txt (located in your .minecraft folder)
Awesome thanks again. Your're great man!
get a liteloader mod called gammabright, it will let you change that in game so you dont have to muck in config files.
Technology you don't comprehend is akin to witchcraft.
hey does this mod have a gui or a way to add or remove blocks from it?

Now I'm *actually* making some progress here:
Found the hook that AmbientOcclusion uses!
Meanwhile, I did some code cleanups, so it should be much easier to update the mod now.

I'm pretty excited now :-)
