Nice mod overall, I found that I knew most of the song choices too :). Only if you could possibly add a survey thingy (I'm fairly new to MCF, don't judge me if I got that wrong) which you could put up songs at let us choose which is added next if your willing to add songs.

You COULD make your own record pack.
@Darkhax - I couldn't stand hand-writing the json file anymore, so I wrote a PHP script to handle it for me. If your interested in taking a look at it, it might make a nifty addition to your website. So far, 4 record packs (sorted by genre) and 100+ tracks later, everything is solid. Wish there was something like "sidben's redstone jukebox" block in your mod (nudge nudge, wink wink), but I'm living without it in favor of a mod that actually freakin works!

I could TRY to make my own record pack. But I don't know what PHP script is, I sorta know what a json file is. I'm pretty sure just looking at it would make sense to me and I could figure it out, but that's not always the case. So, I'll take a look at it and see what I can accomplish.

You should be able to use this mod with his jukebox mod. If not try with another mod that provides better music players.

The advice you gave is fine for users of older versions. Not to nag for updates, but I'm using 1.7.2 now, and I noticed, in a lot of web searching, that there have been about a dozen different mods that change the jukebox, add other music, etc, but they started with versions for Minecraft 1.2 or 1.3, and quit updating by about 1.5.2. (Or maybe I'm missing some updated stuff - I hope to be proven wrong).
Since More Records is just about the records and doesn't make a modified jukebox, it's sort of a limit, as in even if More Records 1.7 comes out, everyone will be playing the new records 1 at a time in the old jukebox. Without better record players, there's less drive to make better records.
I thought your mod wasn't working. All that was showing up in the more records tab were copies of all the stock records. After putting in more packs, it seems that some of the packs out outdated and the core mod no longer adds records?

More Records Mod 2.0 is only compatible with the 3 new packs listed. The core no longer has content as it is a pack loader. Older packs are not compatible.
Due to issues with 1.7 this mod has been discontinued. If you are interested in coding an update for this mod please send me a private message asking for permission to take over the mod. It would be a good idea to also include some info about yourself in said pm.
We are no longer looking for a new developer to take over this mod. With the help of my new coding partner, we have been able to update this mod to 1.7.10. A reeboot called Musica will be released tomorrow, and will be available on curse. Thanks to everyone for supporting this mod, I hope to see you all on the new mod thread <3
