At this time, the Ingame Mod List is broken. This is due to large changes from within the mod list on the forums. If you need to find mods, then you're going to have to check the mod list thread for now. The Ingame Mod List may or may not be updated. Sorry.
This thread is for the Ingame Mod List mod by Vazkii. The mod reads new mods added to the list directly from the Mod List Thread that I help maintain here. This mod requires that you have Minecraft Forge installed in order to work. No, there will be no ModLoader version. Due to the nature of this mod, I don't think old versions will be available for download. The mod is open source. See links below.

Mods added to the list should automatically be added as well to the Ingame Mod List. This happens upon starting up Minecraft, not while In-game.
Open the list by pressing the F12 key.
This works both in other menus or in-game. If in singleplayer, viewing the list will pause the game around you. If you need to change it, the key is configurable in-game via the "controls..." interface within Minecraft's options menu.
Searching the List
As you can read at the bottom of the following screenshots, there is a search function. The search function will search for mods by name or author.

Im glad u added the authors to the list as well. Gives them just that bit more credit.
Good utility mod. does this need the mod author to set up any files or is it automatic?
No. The entries in the list within the mod are all read from this forum thread. The list was created by catqueen5 and is maintained by me when/if she's away. So, the moment I add a new entry to the list in that thread, the mod will pick up the changes to the list and will automatically be added to the mod's list. Was that not clear enough in the paragraph at the top of the OP?
Fair warning to those who aren't updating to 1.4.6 yet. This mod's list may break as the source of the list will now be listing 1.4.6 mods. If this is the case, I apologize. However, I'll poke Vazkii sometime to see if the mod can be updated. As far as I know, it should be a straight recompile for most Forge Mods.

I used to maintain the Minecraft Forums Mod List. However, life has stepped in the way of that. Perhaps later...
Could you release the download for the 1.4.5 version?

Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door is by far the world's best Nintendo game ever made.

The problem is that because the way the list works, even if you have the mod installed on 1.4.5, you'll still only see the 1.4.6 list. If people still want it knowing that, then yeah. But if you're wanting to see the 1.4.4/1.4.5 list, you'll just have to go to the mod list that this mod is based on. :s

industrialcraft 2 = The link you are trying to reach is no longer available or is invalid.
Thanks for letting me know. It seems that the mod was changing the "&" symbols within the link to their HTML code equivalent. Obviously, this broke the links. As a work-around, I've shortened the links using bit.ly. They should work fine now, just close the minecraft client and re-open it for the changes to take effect.
If you find more like this, I would appreciate it if you'd let me know. Cheers!

From now on, all my mod names shall start with numbers. ;3

Maybe it would be possible to have a button on the menu to take you to the list?
