i cant seem to be able to download these mods(that are awsome by the way).i am trying to stop ice melting.i am on 1.7.2 and when i add the mod with magic launcher,it says its okay but when i open minecraft it does not work.i am using forge 1060 and when i open up i expect to see 4 mods instead of the standard 3 that come with forge and it is not there and when i place fire near ice in game (in creative) it melts.is there away to install the mod manually or am i doing something wrong????
Please help!
Thanks!

Sorry to say this but it doesn't work to install for 1.6.4 with SPC and Shaders
I just looked, there is no SPC for 1.6.4 the last version was 1.6.2 you can not mix mods for 1.6.2 with 1.6.4 ,they used different compilers.
Try this, make a 1.6.4 profile in magiclaucher and this is important add the zipped files you download to the magiclauncher list. Then if it runs the problem is with the other mods. Alway remember That Mac's unzip the files, they need to be zipped.
Thank you for this Mod; I need a no Ice mod for checking out VoxelBox Mega_Release Maps. I had some issues (game crash upon first no_fire tick) with the No Fire mod clashing with Chicken Core (it was inserted into Forge 1060 recommended) but I really needed the No Ice Melt. I use NBT Explorer to do the no_fire tick gamerule for the maps prior to running them but no such rule exists no ice melt.
As to why a no fire and no ice melt mod is needed for naysayers; check out these older server maps and then try them on single player. Sure stain glass can be used now but not so easy on server sized maps previously created maps.

my best guess is you left the meta folder in the jar and forgot to add the parimeters to the laucher
Thanks for the response. I have done so it is a mod incompatibility no doubt. I have no problems with the No Ice Melt which is what I needed the most. The meta inf folder was removed as were the jvm arguments added (hence the No Ice working) and it really isn't a big enough issue for me since I can edit the level data game rules for the no fire tick; I just wanted to give you the report in case something jumped out to you. Sincerely I thank you for the No Ice Melt mod.
Hi! I'm using this since 1.7.2 version, also everything always worked well. When I downloaded the 1.7.10 version something happened (not with this mod, it worked well) and I had to return to the 1.7.2, but the launcher crashed.
I decided to reinstall the 1.7.2 version of forge and I started the game, everything went well, so I installed the 1.7.2 version of this mod as I did, putting the .class in the 1.7.2 forge jar folder and deleting the Meta folder, also putting the JVM arguments. I thought since I did the same I did time ago, it would work, but instead it crash again and again. I can't think about why this happens. Does anyone know why this can happen?
Edit.
I can be more specific about the crash.
It usually happens on my lan server (a normal vanilla server, it doesn't have anything to do with my launcher, the mod is in my launcher also I had this mod since months and same for this server, I played well until now) when I'm in a specific desertic bioma. Always there, also after some minutes of playing. I really can't understand what's happening, also because I was on that desert before, with the same mod installed, and nothing happened.
Also I have to say that if I "uninstall" this mod, no crash happens. So it have something to do with it...

Just downloaded the files un zipped them and added them to my mod's folder (multiMC - instance folder - the instance i want it on - minecraft - mods) But when i launch that instance it all works but these 2 mod's don't load. It says 66 mod's active in the bottom while it should be 68 and when scrolling throw the mod's tap on the lauche screen it does not list them either.
Not really sure what i'm doing wrong all the other mod's just load with out a problem.
I suggest the scientific approach, start from nothing and follow the instructions. I'm running minecraft with a far more complex modified 1.7.10 with No problems.
Download version 1.7.10 run it to download all its libraries. test it ,see if its working.
My setup starts with installing forge then running it, so it downloads its libraries . forge mods go into the folder mods/1.7.10
Then installing lite-loader and selecting chain to forge option, running it so it downloads its libraries . lite-loader mods go into folder mods/1.7.10
You should have 3 profiles now, vanilla 1.7.10 , lite-loader 1.7.10 and forge ## 1.7.10 and lite-loader / forge mods all in the folder
/.minecraft / mods / 1.7.10
Fire up Magic-launcher create a new profile name and select version lite-loader 1.7.10 ( see my instructions for Magic launcher )
add your base mods to the list here. Mods like optifine , tomanyitems fire and ice ,WorldDownLoader are examples of base mods
This method does not touch the original minecraft files and is so easy. There are lots of modding tutorials . If your setup is crashing start again,
I think it works on worlds with tricks and servers. My problem is that I want to use it for my own world, and it works, but when I login my server it crashes in the same place (the desertic bioma) and I don't understand why. Now I "fixed" it using 2 versions of forge, one with the mod when I play alone, a backup without the mod when I login the server...

Its not possible for these mods to crash anything as they only change variables. reasons for a crash's
wrong version
on forge , it doesn't like you to mess with the version *.jar files. So you have to override that check with this statement. It tells forge that you added mods to the jar. read post if you don't understand why or how
-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
typo mistakes
put into jar file or in a launcher list in wrong order, they get written over
using wrong zip program and jar gets corrupt ( a jar is not the same as a zip file so use 7zip )
welll, I've done everything already. As I said, I did this time ago and I was using it without problems until some days ago, when I wanted to try the new forge version but I decided to return to 1.7.2, and then this problem was born. I'll try again, I updated winrar idk maybe now it works, also I copy-pasted the JMV arguments from this topic so I know there aren't any typos at all.

Please help!
Thanks!
You clearly have not read though the posts for the solutions to your problems. solution already given
You need to type conditions into parimeters, from the previous posts or Forge will not run. See first page for a link to the post
NBT can be found here for others that run into my unique problem (use before opening VoxelBox maps):
http://www.minecraft...indows-and-mac/

Yes but not by simply dropping into your mods folder. Detailed instructions can be found HERE; the link is from OP.

I suggest the scientific approach, start from nothing and follow the instructions. I'm running minecraft with a far more complex modified 1.7.10 with No problems.
Follow instructions in this topic
http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1286894-1-7-10-updated-fire-and-ice-mod-no-fire-spread-no?comment=80
If your setup is crashing start again,
Yes , read through post why this a better way
Its not possible for these mods to crash anything as they only change variables. reasons for a crash's
wrong version
on forge , it doesn't like you to mess with the version *.jar files.
