I have this problem with every shaderpack I've tested (SEUS 10.1, 10.2, Sildur's vibrant Shaders 1.13 Extreme), that the hand or held blocks are "transparent" especially in front of water.
This is with only Optifine HD_U_C1 and shader mod 2.3.31 installed.
With SEUS there's also this annoying diagonal line.

Any way to fix this? Have I set up Optifine wrong?
If it only happens on TME shaders then his POM is not compatible/renders the pom resource pack incorrectly
I know but it doesn't work on his bump map shaders but it works on his bump map+DOF shaders...
isn't that strange. also I was thinking if I disable his DOF on his bump map+DOF shaders I would get the results I'm looking for so how do I disable his DOF because I've tried adding the // by define DOF and when I run it it just shows a black screen ...

Im gonna let TME shaders help you with this. Ive sent him a private message on Skype.
also Trillion I was using the choaptic33 shader epic TME but once I use it with improved first person mod pigs items and mobs and the player itself become transparent on certain angles as in seus or sonic ethers shaders they do not but I have to use TME shaders as the POM doesn't work on sues as it does in TME shaders.
is there any way I can edit the shader pack to stop making entities see through / transparent?

the vulkan API which seems to work with both nvidia and ATI, could a shader be made to leverage the power of either vulkan or dx12?
Yes, performance wouldn't be better directly to shaders though, however shaders would get faster because of moving to opengl 4.5 and compute shaders. Dethraid is working on making a mod replacing mc's renderer with vulkan
Yes shadersmod works with Forge. But you can also download instead latest optifine. Then you dont need shadersmod to run shaders, as this is
prebuilt in Optifine. www.optfine.net

Im running TME shaders ultra v2.5.2 but happens with all shaders.

jmv arugemets no changed besides 30 GB
nividia 980 ti
100fps on shaders
nividia controll panel was fiddeled with

Does these black specs appear when you dont use a pom resource pack?

Its likely a driver related issue. As i have no problems with any POM resource pack with my own shaders, nor any of the others.
