not sure whats going on, on my laptop is what click and done, but my dekstop, it also has java7, but i can't find the exe needed ot make it run. It just lists as a JAR file not executable jar. Im very onfused and could use a bit of help with this
is it possible to make the shaders brighter?
when i go mineing and don't place a torch the screen goes completely dark
does anybody know how to fix this??
The only time I've seen that error come up is if the driver version ends in 34XX, or running specific versions of Forge (1.7.2).
Mind you, you'd be hard pressed to run SEUS v10.0 Standard on an Intel Graphics adapter, you'd get like 5 FPS if you're lucky!
I've never fired up Rudo's he got a lot of FLAK from everyone. Used to be a complete ripoff of SEUS v08 (which he claimed to be his own) and then when Cody pushed his new EULA on him, he freaked out, LOL. I see he rebuilt them using Chocapic's as a base, but at least he's giving credit where it's due.
I can't run SEUS v10.0 Lite because it goes all pink on me.. Someone mentioned an easy fix for that, I can't remember what it is -- custom colors or something.
I'll check out Chocapic's and Rudo's on my Surface to see how it runs, and see if I crash. Sildur's work great.
There are videos on YouTube of people with the same graphics card using Rudo and SEUS with at least 10 fps (ik that's not lot, but i'm planning on using it on different hg servers)
I just tried to run Sildur's Vibrant shaders for intel and they also gave me the error, and I also tried the standard version and it gave me about 7 in game invalid program errors.

What are you trying to run?
If you are trying to install Optifine or the Shaders for 1.7.4+ then it is a JAR file, run it, and let it go through.
If you are trying to install Optifine or the Shaders for 1.7.2 then take those JAR files and put them into the %appdata%\.minecraft\mods folder.
If you don't have the Minecraft Launcher anywhere, just go download it from minecraft.com again and put it where-ever you want.

Which shaderpack are you running?
Have you tried changing the 'oldlighting' in the shaders button, or adjusting the lighting in the 'video settings' button?

Hmm, I can run Rudoplays Shaders on 1.7.5, but I get a ton of these errors:
WARNING: Only GLSL Version > 110 allows postfix "F" or 'f" for float
This is using 1.7.5 with Optifine Ultra D1 and GLSL 2.3.15. On the Surface it is an Intel HD Graphics 4000 adapter with driver version 10.18.10.3368 on Windows 8.1 x64 with Java 1.7 build 55.
Same error with Chocapic's V4 Low, Sildur's Basic 1.02 & 1.03 (he is aware of these, and is working to fix them at some point -- he has the least amount of errors on Intel cards!), Rudoplays, SEUS v10.0 Lite/Std, SEUS v10.1 Pre/Std, Sildur's Vibrant, and Sildur's Light.
I've been testing and playing around for about 60 minutes now, and have yet to crash..
EDIT2: Sildur's Basic 1.02 work perfectly. You need to edit the gbuffers_terrain.vsh and change the WAVING_CARROTS/POTATOES to WAVING_CARROTS_POTATOES. There are 2 instances of it in there. After that, it works. I'm still playing around with 1.03.
lol sorry if that was confusing
Im saying that on my laptop I can double click on the jar in the minecraft folder, and it works. It doesn't act like a self executing file on my desktop and Im not sure what the differences are. On my laptop when you click on it and check properties, it says executable jar file, on my desk top just jar file
Hello ive been trying to get the sildurs shader and i ran into an issue where i will load a world for both single and multiplayer and it would just instantly crash ive tried it with 4 seperate versions and all produce the same results. i talked to Sildur and he said it seems like id be a problem with my graphics card driver which is and Intel HD Graphic 4600. and quite frankly.....i have no idea what im doing

It says my computer does not meet the minimum requirements for the driver, is there another 33XX driver I could try? Is there another version of the mod that works better with my current driver?

Is this the minecraft.jar? Like for the universal launcher?
Have you taken the JAR file from your notebook and put it on the desktop -- like by USB stick?

Try downloading and installing the video driver from the post directly under your original post (with Average_Crafter).
You'll have to go to start -> control panel -> programs and features, then click on Intel HD Graphics, and uninstall it. After uninstalled, reboot if it asks, and then install the driver that you downloaded (ending in 3368 in this case).
You can't use any of the Intel drivers ending in 34XX with GLSL Shaders. They changed the way OpenGL works, and it crashes with a Java Memory Fault.

Hmm, that driver is for 4000/4400/4600/5000/5200 cards.. Which model Intel HD are you running? 2000/3000/2500?
karyonix how is the progress on the1.7.9 update going? I know that forge still doesn't have a 1.7.9 version, but Optifine has one now. I know it is a ton of work but just curious if there has been any progress. Especially that Bukkit released a beta ver of 1.7.9 a lot of server have switched.

Chances are you need Java 1.7 on your desktop..

new shader: SEUS v8 Remake (no seus code!): http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/2642626-rre36s-seus-v8-remake/
Ok, let me recap for you......
Intel HD Graphics 4000.
That driver is for Windows 7 & 8 x64 ... are you running XP or a 32bit OS?
Windows 8.1 64 bit
Hmm, that's exactly what it's designed for...
It's built for the Intel HD 4000 on Windows 8 and 8.1 x64 (for the Surface Pro 1 -- plus the HD 4600 on the Surface Pro 2)..
Maybe some of the vendor codes were pulled, and it only has the MS Surface ones in it..
Graphics Card - Intel 4000
Shader Pack - [1.6.4-1.7.2] Sildur's shaders [PC/MAC/INTEL]

I would like to appeal for 1.7.9 update yet again. More and more servers are being switched to that version, making this exquisite mod unusable:/
