This doesn't seem to be compatible with the MagicFarm2 v.2.1.0 modpack from the FTB Launcher. I've tried a lot of things to make it work, but after setup preparation, MC just crashes. I am also using JadedCat Mixpack resourcepack. Any tips?
My daughter want's this shader pack and I have NO idea how to make it work. I followed the steps on this website http://www.6minecraft.net/sonic-ethers-unbelievable-shaders-seus/ for version 1.7.2, but don't see where to select "shaders" under options when we go to start Minecraft. She has no other texture packs, because in the past I haven't been able to figure them out. I'm good at following directions, but need the steps clearly written out. Just by reading through this topic I notice we might need a 'forge' but the website I referenced above has no mention of it. Please help!
When I go to the Forge page I chose "1.7.2-Recommended 10.12.0.1024 1.7.2 02/05/2014 04:21:04 AM" and selected "intaller-win"
I select it from my downloads folder and the Minecraft Forge installer pops up where I can select "Install Client"...but it says "There is no minecraft directory set up. Either choose an alternative, or run the minecraft launcher to create one" So it's not letting me install forge.
Yes, she has been playing Minecraft on this computer for a few years now, but I did go to the link you provided and followed through making sure her profile was set to the correct version. 1.7.2 and tried to run the Forge again...same error message.
I have an issue, when I install this mod I can't create new worlds or join existing world because the game crashes when I do this, and multiplayers servers are always offline for me, what can I do??
Hillo! I downloaded this mod several times today, but I can't get it to be registered as a mod. My minecraft registers any other mod, though. When I look at it in the mods folder it's there, but when I press the mods tab on the minecraft game it only has either every other mod or mcp and forge. Please help!
I needed help.. I can't figure it out how to fix the problem where spider and enderman are lighted at night time. I turned off and on some of options in video setting, like smooth lighting
Smooth lighting - off then on then MAX.. none is working or fixing the problem.
Tell me what else is there i can do to fix the issue.

Does it work when you remove ShadersModCore jar from mods folder ?

Forge/FML just don't show this mod in its mod list screen. It does not matter.
Look for Shaders.. button in Option screen.

Try the latest version with default texture.
If you use texture resource pack, make sure its spider_eyes.png and enderman_eyes.png have transparent background.
So I'm trying to get SEUS to integrate with a number of mods I'm running, and for the most part it's going well (I've got foliage from EBXL working with waving leaves/grass/etc. for instance). I'm trying to add certain blocks that should emit light to the light shader, but I can't seem to figure out how to identify them.
I have their block ids, but that doesn't seem to correspond to the IDs referenced by torches & glowstone (which I was trying to base my work on). I seem to need to add things to the GlowStruct struct and set them up with GetMaterialMask, but I've had no luck in figuring out where the ID argument comes from for that function. Can anybody give me a hint that will point me in the right direction?
Or should I be asking in Sonic Ether's thread? I'm not sure how much of this is standard setup in all shader packs vs. stuff he's done in his own shader pack.

ShadersMod get IDs from block.blockRegistry.getIDForObject(block) (in Java program) and send it to shaders in vertex attribute mc_Entity.x .
After that, what to do with the value depends on shaders.

how do i make sure that the spider.eyes.png and enderman_eyes.png have transparent background.. since i have resource pack.. i am not sure what you mean by that.. so how do i???
EDIT: and oh yeah i changed the minecraft to default resource pack.. and i can see the spider's eye and enderman's eye glowing.. like they are brighter eyes. but not their body.. their body are normal and black.. like they are meant to be.. I was running GLSL 2.3.7, SEUS 10.0, and Forge 1024. no resource pack..
then changed it to resource pack..(not default one) and their body have still glowed.. brighter. than before.

Use an image editing software (such as the GIMP). Open the *_eyes.png and delete the non-eye black pixels. The non-eye pixels should be transparent.
Weird, Forge recognizes all my mods except this one. I even tried loading only this one, but for some reason it doesn't work. It is .jar, just like it is downloaded, and all my other mods work, but this one isn't even in the mod list :/ and I'm using the stable build of forge 1.7.2, not even 1.7.4.
As I said, tried with only this mod in the folder and it doesn't work either.

Forge should not be able to recognize this mod. It should work anyways.
I set up forge version 1021, put shaders mod in mods folder, and done (optifine is optional).

This mod not shown in mod list is normal.
This is not really a Forge mod. It just requires FML to load.
Mod list does not show everything FML load.
In Mincraft Launcher's Edit Profile dialog box there is Launcher Visibility option, set it to Keep the launcher open and, after you click the Play button, read "Development Console" in launcher window to see more detail of what is loaded .
2.2.2 seems to solve my former issue, but now its even stranger.
Using the default resource pack: when I try to load the world I just jump back and forth between the main menu and the dirt loading screen at a blinding pace
Using a downloaded resource pack: I get into the world, but my shaders are really really bright and washed out and I have this strange black artifacting, where I can look in certain directions but not others. Its like... the borders of the screen aren't lined up with my monitor? Its hard to explain.Thoughts?
Yay...I'm addicted to Minecraft!

Again, thank you for all your help.

Fixed shadow of transparent block.
Added shaderpack settings : generateShadowColorMipmap, shadowHardwareFiltering0, shadowHardwareFiltering1, shadow0MinMagNearest, shadow1MinMagNearest, shadowColor0MinMagNearest, shadowColor1MinMagNearest
