First of all.I'm very grateful to you.Thank you for making the Shaders Mod. It's a great Mod
But most of the Mod versions of MC remain at 1.7.10,such as optifine,fastcraft and so on.Except FORGE still stays at 1614 version,but that's no big deal.
I hope you can continue to update the version of Shaders Mod in MC1.7.10
Because the current version of Shaders Mod in MC1.7.10 is no longer compatible with the most basic MOD:OPTIFINE and fastcraft
I believe there are still a lot of players still playing MC1.7.10.Shaders Mod is a crucial and indispensable MOD for me (for everyone)
THANK YOU!
If you need shaders on 1.7.10 and can use Optifine, use the latest version of Optifine for 1.7.10. sp614x backdated a lot of the shader stuffs to all versions as far back as 1.7.10, so every shader should work now.

It works fine after I installed ASM provided from your website. I noticed the original minecraft clouds appear, as well as a shader pack's clouds, so I just disabled clouds from video settings and the shader ones are only present. However, where did the shader settings go?
I'm having an issue (using the Shaders Mod for 1.12) where shaders will work perfectly fine, but the moment I hit a block/attempt to break anything, it crashes. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, is there a solution? This happens even when I do not have any shaders turned on, as well, so long as I am using the shaders mod profile.
I'm having the same issue. Shaders look fine, but the moment I attempt to interact with anything in the world, the game crashes. No error log or anything.
Using minecraft 1.12
install-asm-all-5.2-for-minecraft.jar
ShadersMod-v2.7.0mc1.12.jar
Tried with the above files on a fresh minecraft install with the same issue.

This is the exact thing happening to me...I can run around. Look at sheep, gawk at the beautiful water...then the first thing I try to "hit" it crashes instantly...I have been looking for hours on how to fix this...
Proof it works...then first block i try to hit the Crash happens
Update: I found that it is only the 1.12 version that is crashing. I tried the 1.10.2 version and it worked. I was able to break blocks. The mobs did (most of the time) do the thing where the textures don't load and they are just black. At least it worked though.

Same problem for 1.12 using latest version even with no shaderpacks on.

The installer is one of the most devious I've seen. All I wanted to do is install the mod, but I ended up being redirected through 3 pages of rubbish, several attempts to download something fishy off of Chrome and "Search Filter" was added to my browser without my permission by the program.
You downloaded from shadersmod.net, right? Otherwise, you better check what else you have installed on your computer because all I got was that little dialog box titled, "ShaderMod 2.7.0 Installer for Minecraft 1.12" directly. Nothing extra or fishy at all. Sounds like you picked up malware or adware somewheres.

Sorry, but you're wrong, all the latest install files on shadersmod.net try to install that crap and the reason why it's not trying to install for you, is because in some cases (like in my case) the installer seems to skip step 2/4 (maybe because we installed an older version of that mod in the past?) which is exactly the step with that junk, it's clearly a part of the original installer, 100% sure. So nobody who gets these questions about third software picked it up elsewhere.

Not convinced. There is only ONE other solid complaint about this including the Modded Support thread and Reddit.
The ASM installation is fairly new and wondering about it. It bothers me some that we're dl'ing from a dropbox and not somewhere official. The fact that it was in French and ASM makes several references to France seems suspicious too.
Still, it could be triggered by some bloatware or other app running that's attaching itself to the install.

See, there aren't any shader options here... ;-;
EDIT:
Nvm...
I also agree with this. In the mod pack im playing with I tried to just deal with the bugs that optifine brings but its just not possible.
Oh yeah, it's crashing alright.
i have the same problem ;-;

At the very bottom of the first post under "History" is a spoiler containing old releases.
Sorry, I don't know how to get old shaderpacks to work. You might use Notepad++ to edit them.

Same problem for 1.12 using latest version even with no shaderpacks on.
Output:
Any chance to add a biome variable for the shaders? Rain puddles look weird in desert

I have the same problem. ShadersMod crashes as soon as I start breaking a block, even with no shader enabled.
