Scimitars are a special type of sword. While normal swords give the target an invincibility duration of 1 second, the scimitar cuts this time in half, allowing for a greater number of hits in a given period of time. Of course, faster hitting means faster breaking, and these swords require twice the material of other swords.
The magic cookie mod allows you to easily build and mine with the easy of creative mode, but while still being restricted by resources and health, like survival. It's an easily made 'tool' that allows you to break all blocks quickly. It:
modulates its efficiency based on the hardness of the block. It will be able to mine obsidian quickly, while not being out of control when mining dirt.
has two speeds, one extremely fast, and one easier to control. Switch between them by right clicking.
allows you to configure the two speeds via the config file.
Do you want a mod that turns emeralds into a priceless resource, deserving of their rarity?

While "Emerald tools" mods add traits that make emeralds useful to account for their rarity, this makes emeralds common to account for their uselessness.
While leading animals with breeding materials is useful, it's also very flawed and inefficient. This mod adds chicken cages, which allow you to pickup chickens and carry them around much more easily than herding with seeds. Right click an adult chicken with an empty cage to catch it, then right click with a full cage to release.
Leather armor is useless, even as early game armor. It's far outclassed by iron armor, which is easy to get from the beginning of the game. This mod makes it so that leather armor gives a speed boost of 120% when drawing back bows. Other armors (Chain-leather, bone, ghast) give more protection, and have a better speed boost.
Raw ghast leather is an occasional drop from ghasts.
-Right Click with pole vault while walking to do a small jump

Could you make a version with just the leveling swords and the required items to make them? It would also be cool to see more swords like that.
I'll make a version that only has the hilt and the three levelable swords, but probably not for a few days, when I'll have more free time.

I do plan to update to 1.4 as soon as possible, but as far as I know, ModLoader is not currently updated. It's worth noting that Soul Glass will probably be made harder to get in the 1.4 update, as I've realized that it's far more broken than I anticipated (it's not getting nerfed, but will be harder to get). Thanks again for the videos, I really appreciate it.
Edit: I'm also thinking about updating to forge. There are a lot of sprites between all three mods and so an infinite sprite index would help. This would, however, be after simple updates.

The Level-able tools are awesome but they get too fast when they reach a certain level, this causes blocks to stay in place and just appear invisible please fix this cause this mod is too awesome to fall bacause of one little problem.

I'm not sure why the glitch happens, but I'll try to figure out at what point the tool becomes too strong and cap it's efficiency right before then. I tried with 3 blocks and it always started happening around when the hardness to efficiency ratio was 1:30. If you could post your tool's level and the block you were using it on, that would be helpful. (Since I just now realized my post doesn't state this, right click with a tool to be shown experience, level, and needed experience. Use the bottom 3 lines, as the first three are inaccurate.)
Edit: I've just uploaded a fix for the gilded mod, along with the obsidian fix mentioned below. I haven't been able to test it as extensively as I'd like, but I'm fairly sure it works, in both removing the error and being as close to max as possible.

You need a diamond pick to get obsidian so make it better than diamond and gold. Please.
Currently, it has 501 uses and is slower than wooden tools. Try it. (I use ShowDurability mod)

1) Does your speed problem affect more than the shovel? Because I'm an idiot, I accidentally made the obsidian shovel act as a pickaxe. Other than this, however, when I use the mod, the tools work at the proper, faster-than-diamond speed. I'll upload a fix for the shovel now. If you can tell me what you did so I can replicate the problem, I'll try to fix it.
2) The proper efficiency is 9.7, which is faster than diamond (8.0), but weaker than gold (12.0). This isn't set in stone and I'm willing to change it, but it is certainly higher than diamond.
3) The 501 durability is an intentional design choice. Diamond is so high because it's incredibly rare, while obsidian is pretty common, even without the redstone to obsidian glitch. Because of this, obsidian does not need an extremely high durability to be useful, so I don't see a problem with it's current durability. I'm willing to change at a suggestion, but 2500 is unnecessarily high.

1. Reinforced Obsidian tools and armor. Normal recipe but with reinforced obsidian instead of normal smelted obsidian.
Reinforced obsidian recipe: (Makes 2 reinforced obsidian)
Durability 3 times of diamond and same speed as gold.
2. Heavy duty obsidian tools and armor. Normal recipe but with heavy duty obsidian
Heavy duty obsidian recipe: (Makes 2 heavy duty obsidian)
Durability 10 times of diamond and speed 15
3. Obsidian golem
Same way to make as iron golem but with Heavy duty obsidian instead of iron.
500 Hearts, same speed as player, 18 damage

They break at the same level as the material with the same efficiency, unless that material is gold. For example, a level 4 tool (efficiency 3.5) will break at a wood (efficiency 2.0) level and a level 5 tool (efficiency 4.0) will break at a stone (efficiency 4.0) level. The tools are unbreakable, but if the player loses one, it's experience will stay if they make another.
I don't know if it is just me.. but I had a level 9 gilded sword and a level 7 jeweled pickaxe, and I restarted minecraft and they reverted to level 1.

The problem might be on your end. Even logged out of my mediafire, I can get the download to work.
They break at the same level as the material with the same efficiency, unless that material is gold. I might not take the ideas verbatim, but I'll definately keep them in mind.
