Hey guys, do any of you use limited range weapon? I tried to use frost cannon, but I realized, that I spent more time to mine snow than to farm mobs. I tried to use bows - arrows run out faster than mob's health. I tried to use corrupted cannon, but I am in a lack of corrupted shards. And melee weapons are too dangerous for my low armor (realmite and recently elite realmite).
So I decided to obtain infinite range weapon (at that moment I didn't know about inferno bow). I worked pretty hard for finding and kill king crabs and whales using shurikens and slime sword to obtain bowhead anchor, and, you know, no other range weapon can compare to it (even infinite inferno bow, cause it shoots too slow). And.. the hard core is over. The game has became much easier, even allowing for the fact that mob still can kill me in 2-3 shots. They even can not even come near me (even caveclops can not shoot me, because they attack range much more shorter than mine). It still takes a lot of time to kill, say, an enthralled dramcryx, but now it's just press down LMK, stay still and press up when mob dies.
So I think maybe creators should think about weapon balance. For example not allow range weapons to toss mobs away. Or make more simplier way to craft arrows. Or tons of variants.
Anyway, Divine RPG is awesome mod and is my favorite one, but.. there is always room for improvement

Would it be possible to make it so when enchanting a tool with a book, it only uses the enchants that the tool can have and discards the other enchants on the book? I was able to enchant a very powerful book using the Altar of Corruption [Power IV, Sharpness IV, Looting III, Fire Protection IV] but am unable to use it cause there's no item that can have all four of those enchants.
Actually when you enchant a book with the Altar of Corruption, it doesn't function the same way as when you enchant through the enchantment table. You cannot use it to enchant with an anvil, because the book itself bears the enchantment; if you kill a mob with it, you could get extra drops from the looting enchantment. From what I've read, it is unclear whether it is a bug or intended, but I believe the creators are aware of it either way.
Congratulations, you were the 100th whiny child to call out for an update, and as I'm sure you know the mod creators announced that when they hit 100 update demands, they'd press their magic update button and release Divine RPG for Minecraft 1.5.1. We all thank you.
I like this mod (played it as a part of RPG Immersion pack from FTB Launcher), but I have seen a lot of issues with consistency that seriously affect my interest in the mod. Fixing these would help greatly in keeping players involved.
First and foremost: consistently mark items for their attributes. Since Ender Bow didn't have an "ammo" requirement as part of its description, I thought it didn't need ammo. When it did, I was peeved. There are quite a few items like this, so it'd be great if they were consistently marked.
An addition that could be made to this system is for enchantability. Some items are enchantable, others are not. The differences between them seems somewhat arbitrary to me, so it'd be nice to have a tooltip for that.
Another couple of item bugs/suggestions
1: The Bowhead anchor projectiles don't render on all screens, just the firing player's.
2: Inferno armor allows fire to exist on a player and to cause damage ticks. Damage ticks eliminate upward momentum, so the issue of being on fire isn't removed at all. I'd suggest removing damage ticks from lava and removing the fire debuff instantly with inferno armor. That change would make the armor much better in my opinion.
That's gonna be a problem, for me at least, if you don't mind a suggestion they should consume either 5 or 10 arcana each shot.
With the rebalance a LOT of things will change. For example, Phasers won't degrade anymore but are largely nerfed. The rebalance is very major within the mod.
The 1.5 Update changed a lot of things with code. Especially the textures. Since every item has its own texture file now all the textures for every item, mob, ore, weapon, etc. have to be moved off of a sprite sheet and into it's own file. As you all should know there are 115 mobs and far more items. Plus the code for the textures has to be changed from a spot on the sprite sheet to a separate area to match where the PNG file is. Let's see any of you update a mod this big in a week. Have some patience.

Did you try to enter the same Iceika as before? If so, try regenerating it by going to your .minecraft, then saves, then choose your world and delete the Iceika folder. Warning: Make sure you make a copy of your world before trying this.
I have a problem :/ When I enter the Uvite dimension my minecraft freezes at downloading terrain...It doesn't crash or anything.And when i checked task manager it said that Minecraft was still responding.
the higher up the dimension ladder you go , the more time it takes to generate the world...wait a few more minutes, on really bad pc's it can take upto 30 minutes, and on good pcs like mine it takes about 2-5 minutes

There is a config file provided by both mods to provide support for this. You'll need to change the IDs for any conflicting item or dimension in either config file to a different (and unused) ID.
Anyone know about a bug where bows that say they draw faster actually don't? My Halite bow is as slow as all the others, including the vanilla bow. I ran a test and it looks like none of the other bows draw quicker either.

Actually when you enchant a book with the Altar of Corruption, it doesn't function the same way as when you enchant through the enchantment table. You cannot use it to enchant with an anvil, because the book itself bears the enchantment; if you kill a mob with it, you could get extra drops from the looting enchantment. From what I've read, it is unclear whether it is a bug or intended, but I believe the creators are aware of it either way.

First and foremost: consistently mark items for their attributes. Since Ender Bow didn't have an "ammo" requirement as part of its description, I thought it didn't need ammo. When it did, I was peeved. There are quite a few items like this, so it'd be great if they were consistently marked.
An addition that could be made to this system is for enchantability. Some items are enchantable, others are not. The differences between them seems somewhat arbitrary to me, so it'd be nice to have a tooltip for that.
Another couple of item bugs/suggestions
1: The Bowhead anchor projectiles don't render on all screens, just the firing player's.
2: Inferno armor allows fire to exist on a player and to cause damage ticks. Damage ticks eliminate upward momentum, so the issue of being on fire isn't removed at all. I'd suggest removing damage ticks from lava and removing the fire debuff instantly with inferno armor. That change would make the armor much better in my opinion.
With the rebalance a LOT of things will change. For example, Phasers won't degrade anymore but are largely nerfed. The rebalance is very major within the mod.
Did you try to enter the same Iceika as before? If so, try regenerating it by going to your .minecraft, then saves, then choose your world and delete the Iceika folder.
Warning: Make sure you make a copy of your world before trying this.
the higher up the dimension ladder you go , the more time it takes to generate the world...wait a few more minutes, on really bad pc's it can take upto 30 minutes, and on good pcs like mine it takes about 2-5 minutes

There is a config file provided by both mods to provide support for this. You'll need to change the IDs for any conflicting item or dimension in either config file to a different (and unused) ID.
