Cool. The main reason that we moved up the dimension IDs is because we didn't want mystcraft to link to the dimensions and we didn't know how many ages we would eventually end up creating. Luckily there are only two so we should be good as long as we don't make too many ages. Anyways do you think it would be possible to get realmite, arlemite, and rupees to generate in mystcraft ages?
Move the mystcraft provider ID to something like 15 or higher that'll solve any problems with mystcraft ages linking to our dimensions by accident.

Hello, I am wondering on what's your stance on private modpacks?
I plan to include this in a modpack via the private modpack option in the FTB Launcher.
Thank you!~
This mod is awesome, but it is REALLY HARD. I mean WHOA HARD!
Im in realmite and getting 2 shot by every single new mob i see. I have lost 3 full inventories in one night of playing. Im now naked and it sucks. I dont understand. what kinda armor am i suposto use? All i can find is realmite, diamond and like 1 rupeeblue . Im afraid to enter the nether because i know more 2 shotting awaits.
I have run out of realmite and I am having a really hard time heading back underground to get more now that i have lost everything. I feel like i wasted an entire weeks worth of mats to one night of corpse running and remaking items only to lose them again the next time i try to adventure.
Why does EVERY single new mob 2 shot and all the armor sucks?
I feel like i need to cheat items to stand a chance in this mod.
Just my opinion after 4 days of playing. REALLY HARD MOD YO! GOD DAMN!
Guess i gota just start from scratch again and play ALOT more defensive. I will give this one more go....

The angelic armor makes you OP
It makes everything 10 times easier. In the dimensions you can just fly around and mine the ores you see, and if you are in trouble, you can just fly away. It's basically cheating, I will never walk again, I will never starve, and I will actually never get killed by anything
Instead of almost being in creative mode, you should make it so it lets you jump much longer and higher.
For an example, you could jump over a 10 block gap, and over a 5 blocks wall, but permanentaly flying breakes the whole game :/
Another suggestion is to add the twilight tier back in. I know it's dangerously hard to obtain those items, but it's cool to have it as a goal.
And with the armors massivly nerfed, it's not even that good

Try the dungeons of arcana with the angelic armor, and then without.
Try the dungeons of arcana with the angelic armor, and then without.
Yes yes, I know hey are not good for protection, but you can just fly pass the mobs, or fly over them.
And arcana is the only dimension/place with a permanent roof over it, so except being there, you are OP anywhere else.
perhaps having an expensive fuel source for the flying ability that is consumed as you fly, flying is really damn useful for building and 5 block height jumps would be damn annoying when doing anything other than walking in an open space.
The fuel thing is an excellent idea!
And I know what you mean by jumping 5 blocks high is annoying, but when you at the same time jump 10 blocks forward it's faster than walking, especially if you are in a mountain biome

problem with that is that you could easily over or under jump it in many of the dimensions - leading to a painful and expensive death
I think it is a pretty valid discussion. If the Angelic Armor is easy to find, it could use fuel or become harder to craft (sincerely, I don't know the recipe for that armor yet). Flying is a must have in this mod, because sometimes, the islands in the twilight are so far apart that you have to use a lot of resources to build bridges, and that only creates narrow corridors where enemies spawns and give you no maneuver space to fight then. Jump is a possibility, but I would add multiple jumps (double jump, triple jump), like in aether - that would give strategy to the jumps and allow the player to calculate to not fall out of an island. To finish, perhaps fly could consume the Arcanum bar or even a temporary bar that fills over time, but if completely depleted, would deactivate flight until fully restored. There are good ideas all around, but I agree that freely flying can be cheap.
Editing DivineRPG dimensions on MCEdit actually IS possible, but as you may see, the program doesn't recognize all the blocks and replace some; I brushed gold blocks all around to test the changes, but it automatically replaced the log with command blocks and the leaves with stone buttons. It is a buggy process, but I intend to dive deep in the MCEdit realms tonight...
I've been compiling a private modpack for my girlfriend and I to play and so have had to change all block and item id's in the cfg file. However, now when I enter the Dravite Hills, the world is generated out of Stone Fences and Ender Chests :/ I don't think it is supposed to look this way, please help?
PS: I haven't checked the other dimensions yet because of fear that it would scare me even more. All the recipes generate correctly and so do the mobs, etc. However the world generates incorrectly :/

Enchant the armor with protection 4, and you'll take very very little damage.

We do plan on making it jumping or gliding instead of flying. However, the big downside to flying is that any Twilight mob will one-hit you in Angelic armor as it has very low defense. There are ranged mobs in all the dimensions but Azurite, so that is the only one you may be safe in.
when u use the currpted thing it gives random enchants on the books therefor making them useless... like eff 4 with power 2
The Corrupted Alter can give multiple enchantments sometime... Just keep enchanting and your eventually get enchantment(s) that can be used on a certain item. It's not even hard to level up with this mod lol...
I don't see why your complaining when you already knew the logical answer that you can get combinations of enchantments that might not fit the proper item.

I do not understand why people keep complaining about dying in realmite lol. Its like the lowest tier armor in the game, do you think the lowest teir armor will protect you that much.
May I ask you something Xolova? Firstly, good job on answering all the questions. You and Hologuard have no time to do anything XD
Firstly(again), will you be adding armor stands in 1.5? Because it would be interesting to see such an accessory in minecraft. Secondly, I see you are accepting beta testers?

We're planning a furniture update sometime soon (to set up stuff for 1.3), it may be attached with 1.3, we're not sure.
I have a damed problem with Iceika.
Well we tryed on the server to lit the Iceika portal.
First we seen the portal working,
but as my friends enters she was thrown out.
Since then the server has been crashed every... idk... 10-20 seconds... and needed restart to work again.
We set it back a few hours.
Why does that happen?
Cant we enter Iceika?
Ok, can you tell me the plan of beta-testers then?
P.S. You guys sure do respond fast, this thread is 24/7!
For this in particular we like won't get beta-testers as it's just the addition of blocks, for 1.3 we will, that will be said when we are closer to the release of 1.3
Move the mystcraft provider ID to something like 15 or higher that'll solve any problems with mystcraft ages linking to our dimensions by accident.
I plan to include this in a modpack via the private modpack option in the FTB Launcher.
Thank you!~
