Also i have one more idea of a spell Its called elemental tornadoes. So it costs 15 mana because its a high powerful spell. So it can be random or you can make all of them into there own spells. First one is fire tornado it sends a mini tornado shooting fire in a small or large fashion crushing some blocks and mobs in its way (You can decide if you want it to destroy blocks) Then there is water ice or snow and vortex. So i bet you know about everyone except Vortex. Vortex is a black and purple mini tornado that sucks things up and shoots them into the sky with poison. (I know that is way to over powered so you dont have to add it if you dont want to) Thanks if you look at these spells.
That might be worth looking more into, though 15 mana is extremely low. You go from 100 mana at level 1 to close to 30,000 mana at level 50, so that will need to be balanced a bit differently. However, I like the vortex-tornado, though I may rename it. Maybe Living Vortex? The fire tornado I could call fire whirl, ice could be snow storm?
Self/Buff, Works effectively like diamond armor with high protection. However, renders you near immobile and has relatively low durability.
Also, perhaps an elemental explosion offensive spell. Fire, lightning, ice.
aoe, high-level endgame, when it hits an entity sets it on fire, works as a lightning effect, immobilizes them for a few seconds.
When it hits a block, destroys it, converts sand to glass, maybe creates snow or fire.

Stone skin might be neat. I have some defensive spells, but the increased defense with the tradeoff of low movement speed is interesting.
The elemental explosion is something really unique too, though it may end up being a little OP. It will take some careful balancing.

The Armor chicken is great looking.. looks like fun hehehe..
As for towers, if you can make them look mage-like, that would be preferred. Size-wise, I'd prefer something taller than your average tree, but a wizard's shack or something similar, if it looks good, would be kind of neat to have too. I'm pretty easy.
The bottom line is that it has to look good, have some decent detail, and show that at least a little bit of effort was put into it
Mithion you can rename them whatever you think would be good. Your names sound better too I hope i can be a beta tester. Also just change the mana to what you think is good. But i think the Living Vortex should be a high level spell thanks.
I would like to become a beta tester for this mod. There are two spells that I would like to suggest to you. The first one is:
Fire Wyrm, it is a projectile spell that locks on to target and deals fire damage over time after it hits. It is in the shape of a worm when casted, and will go straight through you dealing massive damage.
Spell number two is:
The Third Degree, all fire around you on the ground, is picked up and absorbed into your spell. (Draining more mana if there is more fire being absorbed) When it launches out of the scroll, it goes into the sky and spreads out into a fiery rain on your opponents.
I am going to work on a mage tower soon, but it is not finished presently. I hope you take my spell ideas into consideration. This is a really great looking mod that I look forward to using.
Fire wyrm is a neat variation on presentation. I'll consider this one.
The Third Degree already exists in the game as a form of spell combo. Fire shield absorbs nearby fire, and there is a pulse spell that launches your shield out as an offensive blast, consuming the shield.
Mithion, make a spell called Tempest. It would make a tornado with a.... shocking, effect. it would possibly cause rain and pick up dropped blocks and mobs.
Also make a spell called Mana Pulse. It will take all of your mana, and depending on how much you have, it will increase the damage and radius. It should also knockback small mobs.
Tempest is a good one for a higher level spell.
Mana pulse already exists in the form of Shockwave, though it doesn't consume all of your mana.
Hi i would like to try out to be a beta tester and i know 2 spells that would be good to use. First up you can name this one yourself but you can summon your own human that has a guard skin with a iron or stone sword with iron armor and he or she stays until they die.
Next spell is god tools they are better then diamond tools but have a lower durability. The sword should do 6 or 5 hearts of damage or how many you want. If this is to hard just tell me but i hope i can be a beta tester. Thanks

I'm not really looking to add new tools at this point.
I have another idea for a spell Mithion. It is called Disarm. If it hits another player, then the item currently in their hand is thrown out onto the ground. The spell could help in PvP.
I also have an idea for a spell that would be a round projectile that is green and richochets three times then disappears if it doesn't hit anything. It might also deal poison damage. I was thinking it could be called Acid Bolt.
Basically, it's the reverse of "stoneskin." Perhaps certain mobs could ignore you if you had stoneskin?
Buff/debuff/self, Increases your running speed and jump height, but lowers the height you need to fall to take damage and increases how easily you take damage. A sort of negative armor that makes you much faster. Could also make you invisible or translucent.
Also, a Withering spell.
A bolt/consistent stream shot from the hand.
Kills grass & mycelium, destroys leaves, and causes cacti, sugar cane, and mushrooms to drop, with a risk of destroying drops. Converts logs to another block on the spot, but I can't think of one that already exists that could be good. Planks? Might as well just drop it. Also converts zombies to skeletons, villagers to villager zombies. Causes mooshrooms to convert to cows, and sheep to be sheared. Big spiders will be shrunk and "corrupted" into cave spiders.
Maybe not the villagers, and just restricting it or the actual killing effects to flora.
I'm reasoning it as a spell that's like a death spell, but relatively weak, too weak to work against animated things, so it has to corrupt them again. For dead flesh like zombies, it withers it away.
This will probably be relatively hard to code if there has to be a different effect for each mob.

This spell would require the addition of a crystal ball which would be an item used for other spells that can be introduced to the game. Once you craft this crystal ball you could use it to see through the eye like a camera. But you can upgrade the eye so that through the crystal ball (probably a GUI interface) you can target whatever creatures or enemies you want on the screen and then the eye could shoot either ice spikes or fireballs or even teleport that targets to a special area.
As for the crystal balls you could use them to view what other creatures are seeing. This would require a spell like mind view or mind control that you already casted on a creature. Once you have the upgraded crystal ball, this is where the Gui would begin to come in, then you can choose which creature you want to use through the Crystal Ball. For instance lets say I targeted a zombie with a mind view spell and a creeper with a mind control spell. The Crystal Ball Gui would allow me to scroll through the different creatures that I targeted and use them accordingly. With the zombie I could just watch through his eyes and see what he is seeing but with the creeper I can control him as if I was in his body.
As for the eye spell this would be a high level spell. I would say like 20,000 mana to cast. The other spells I mean they would vary of course. So for instance mind view would be 2,000 and mind control 8,000.

I have been searching for a very long time for THE perfect magic mod.
Guess what I thought when I saw the video for this?
So now, it is ON TO THE SPELL SUGGESTIONS! TALLY-HO!
SPELL ONE!
The spell name: Weary Eyes.
The spell type (projectile, cone, aoe, block-target, self, buff, channeled): Debuff/projectile.
What it should do when it hits an entity (if applicable): It will cause the entity to lie down as if it were asleep. The effect wears off when the target is dealt damage, or when 3 minutes elapses.
What it should do when it hits a block (if applicable): Absolutely nothing.
SPELL TWO!
The spell name: Re Herring/Smokescreen
The spell type (projectile, cone, aoe, block-target, self, buff, channeled): AOE
What it should do when it hits an entity (if applicable): Block vision with a massive cloud of smoke that encompasses up to 20 blocks in each direction, depending on how much time was spent preparing the spell.
What it should do when it hits a block (if applicable): Create a large amount of smoke for upwards of 15 seconds.
Now, I am just suggesting these spells because I can. I will try my hand at making a mage tower for you to oogle at, and use that for an application for beta-testing.

What it does:Activates any buttons/levers/pressure plates within a 30X30X10 block range.

Spell 3:
Name:Blink
Type:Channeled
What it does: Teleports you were you are looking and does 4 hearts of damage to the player.
Spell 4
Name:Overshadow
Type:Projectile
What it does:Sends a dark arrow at a mob, if it hits it, then your point of view will be changed to that mob's and you will control it for 3-8 minutes (randomized).
Spell 5
Name:Electroshock
Type:Projectile/buff
What it does:The next five attacks you make will cause lightning to come down from the sky and give the target the stun effect which causes them to be incapable of movement. In addition to this, it will not change creepers and pigs into charged creepers and zombie pigmen.
Spell 6
Name:Transfigure
Type:Channeled(I seem to like those, don't I?)
What it does:Causes the next mob that you click on to turn into any mob excluding charged creepers, spider jockeys, ender dragons, and the wither (If mod is updated)

So, the two spells I thought up that aren't A ): in the suggestions or B ): in the wiki are the Tesla Shield (Electric Shield, Storm shield, etc.) and the Electrical Dominance. The latter actually taking form as two possible spells.
I'm also putting in the concept for a third just in case it seems interesting.
Tesla Shield:
Type: Self/block-target Buff.
Effect on Entity: As this is a self-buff the entity would be the player and the effect would be creating a small storm that zaps hostile mobs when they get too close (possible 0.5-1.5 blocks), doing minor damage and pushing the mob away form the player. The latter being its primary purpose. Lasts 30 seconds to two minutes randomly.
Effect on Block: Creates a small electrical storm on the block face the spell was cast on that lasts upwards of three minutes that does minor damage to all mobs and pushes them away. Basically the same as above only about 2-3x range.
The cost for this, I would imagine, would be a small cost allowing lower-level mages to use it as a utility within caves or when adventuring through nighttime.
Electric Dominance:
First Idea:
Type: Projectile
Effect on Entity: Turns hostile mobs (excluding creepers. They explode with an electric charge) into followers for a set amount of time. The idea behind this is that the brain is a compilation of bioelectric signals and the ability to manipulate those causes a change in friend or foe. However, as the brain is complex and still mostly unknown, it fights the spell until it finally breaks free at about 2 minutes after first cast. Cost of spell: Mid-ranged to high.
Effect on Block: None. As this is micro-electric in nature a block cannot be affected.
Second Idea:
Type: Cone
Effect on Entity: Stuns several mobs within a small cone in front of the player for around 5-15 seconds. Some mobs may not survive the blast itself, and of course Creepers still explode with an electric charge. Micro-electricity is a hard thing to focus, you know. Cost of spell: Low-to-Mid ranged.
Effect on Block: None. Again, micro-electricity has no effect on blocks.
Magnetic Resonance:
Type: Channeled AOE
Effect on Entity: Causes creepers to explode due to minor electrical charges. Most mobs unaffected.
Effect on Block: As it is channeled for longer causes metal-type ores (namely iron. Copper and tin if using Forge. Gold is not magnetic.) to break and move towards the player. Ores in direct sight in a 15-20 block radius immediately break and float towards the player. Ores behind walls take longer to break through walls to come towards the player. Recommended breaking walls first then ores so as not to spam the client with lots of drops. Cost: Low, but as it is channeled the cost could go up exponentially.)
And one I'd love to see.
Electric Whip:
Type: Self-target Buff
Effect on Player: Equips an electric whip capable of damaging mobs within 5-7 blocks of the player when used. Think a sword with a 5-7 block range and a nasty sting to it. Has a small chance to disorient the mob hit and causes creepers to explode on contact. (Again, creepers explode with electrical charges)
Alt 1: Equips in open hotbar slot (automatically selects), unequips when deselected.
Alt 2: Scroll becomes the whip mechanism and is returned to normal after deselection.
Time equipped: one minecraft day (10-20 minutes. It is a weapon and you can't use anything else with it equipped.)
(Similar to Skyrim's conjured weapons, which is a good mechanic in my opinion.)
Thought: if overcharged, increase max range.)
Effect on Block: Spell does nothing. With whip: Attacking a metallic ore block has the same effect as Magnetic Resonance only affecting one block at a time. Also can retrieve diamonds if lucky enough to wrap around them. (This is a magic spell, after all. And how many diamonds have you seen over lava that you really want to get but can't?)
General cost: Low to Medium cost for a weapon that must stay selected.
And after all this I think I'm going to try designing a Wizard Tower. Why not go all the way, right? I might think up some other things along the way.

Okay, three towers of two different models. One model has an aged appearance (vines not included) and the other model is a desert-based. I got the idea of the desert one so I decided to roll with it.

This would be an interesting one, A spell that gives you mana-like tendrils coming from your back, These tendrils can carry items, mine blocks, attack mobs automatically, basically tendrils that carry about MC chores, play around with this idea, its one that i just wanted to get into the community because it would be increadibly fun.
Although, it may be difficult to do this, you could perhaps change the tendrils to an entity that locks onto your back when you cast the spell? Eh, anyway, hope you have not forgotten me. FOR EVERYONE TO READ: THIS IS A PURE MAGIC MOD, THINGS LIKE XRAY ARE NOT MAGIC

And after all this I think I'm going to try designing a Wizard Tower. Why not go all the way, right? I might think up some other things along the way.

Okay, three towers of two different models. One model has an aged appearance (vines not included) and the other model is a desert-based. I got the idea of the desert one so I decided to roll with it.

Oh, and I have another idea that you may consider adding.
This would be an interesting one, A spell that gives you mana-like tendrils coming from your back, These tendrils can carry items, mine blocks, attack mobs automatically, basically tendrils that carry about MC chores, play around with this idea, its one that i just wanted to get into the community because it would be increadibly fun.
Although, it may be difficult to do this, you could perhaps change the tendrils to an entity that locks onto your back when you cast the spell? Eh, anyway, hope you have not forgotten me.
