What is Tale of Kingdoms?
Tale of Kingdoms is an adventure RPG mod, which is made by tyberalyx, where you prove your worth as a King, fight evil and eventually raise your own Kingdom. side note: be patient!!! it takes a while before your world will be loaded, it has to do quite some stuff!!!

Where is my guild?A. In order for a new guild to spawn you must also start a new world..Q. Coins won't drop.. HELP!!!A. Reinstall if this happens!Q. My Path to kingdom keeps resetting, HELP! This So this post is deticated to people that have problems (not with installing) but letting the save file work and not having a reset!So first things first, how does it work?well it basicly works in a way you might expect, maybe not.the saveSystem mojang is using is called NBTtagcompound, this will allow you to make a .dat file and write data to it and get it off there, so that is what I am using to save data to a file and get it off there when you load the world, a program that can be used to edit these kind of files is called NBTedit (tutorial in spoilers )
Open up NBTedit by unzipping it and clicking the NBTedit.exe
click on the open button at the top
search for the file you want to edit
click open and you will see the info in that file
so, people are having issues with that saving system, and I can understand that you might have problems with this because things are resetting for some people, so here is a list of things you willl need to check if you wanna make sure the save system works in a certain world. (you need to have loaded up the world once)
first off go to your .minecraft folder and then to saves, then check if your world file doesn't contain a - / \ | . , ! @ # $ % € ^ & * ( ) _ + = ` ~ or any other token in windows (spaces are okay)
second check if there is a file created in your world directory, it should be called "KingdomModSave.dat" if this is not there then you might have installed the mod wrong or the first point i listed is the problem!
third, but when if that file is in there? and it is still sort of resetting, well then you do not have a problem (yet), but if you have a survival world (vanilla) and a survival ToK and you just loaded that vanilla and now you want to play the ToK, well the thing you then need to do is not the hardest, just exit out of minecraft and start it back up, then load your ToK world, also if you switch between worlds make sure you restart minecraft completely.
So, is your world name the same as your folder name??? if not please do so, else the mod will not work correctly
so, i did all you listed here but it is still giving me a problem: well then you will need some editing, won't be the hardest editing. So open up NBTedit and check in the spoilers below what you should edit!

this is what should show up if you followed the nbt tut. (it may be a little different!!!!)
So what are the points that need an edit to work?
go and search for StartGame if this is not 1 but 2 or 0 and the guild has spawned change it to 1
next up you will need to find GuildCreated it should be 1 if the guild has spawned else change it to 0
Find the hunter now, if you signed the contract it should be 1, if this is not the case change it to 1
last thing to find is saveFileExist, if this is not 1, change it when you do have the save file, this is i think the place where most of the bugs are coming from.

well to be honest, i have started my rewrite of the code, tho it is taking a while... I hope this is finished next weekend.. and i really hope it is... since i want to start adding new features to the mod, like the 4th level of the kingdom
