Sort of bad news. Got BSOD twice earlier today and Minecraft input was being weird for the past week or two. I'll have to figure this one out before I can update Schematica because it makes it impossible to move in Minecraft, at all. I hope I can get this sorted out as soon as possible.
I seem to be having problems using this mod with 1.7.2 . I have LunatriusCore 1.7.2 installed, but the only Schematica file I could find said 1.6.4, and Forge does not apparantly detect the schematica mod file. Is this because I am using MultiMC? Or have not correctly followed instructions?

Schematica isn't for 1.7.2 or 1.7.4 yet. The forum title says it is only for 1.6.4.

That's just a notice I put up when I was editing both MCF threads. Hoping that I can start working again tomorrow, should've fixed the blue screen issue (I hope).
Sorted out the issue. I'll most likely have to wait out for srg2source. Right now I've spent well over 3 hours deleting old, unused code and refactoring away most of the fields so I could finally compile the project. I then realized that once srg2source will be done I'll have to undo everything that I've been doing in the past days, which is more than counter productive.
Another thing is fluid code. A few parts of the code rely on the fluid code, which wasn't updated yet.
In the mean time I'll try to update MSH and refactor around some code my other mods. I know it's bad news for most people, but spending a few hours to do something and then another few hours to undo everything is just... like a punch to the face. Sorry! :|
Not really. I've already said that I will update the mod, there's just things holding me back at the moment. Asking for updates contributes nothing to any kind of conversation and the person doing so is most likely going to be ignored.
Also, this. There's 30 mods (on that list) that are updated to 1.7.2, out of 515 for 1.6.4. I'm not a wizard.
It's a start. I'll see if I can get anything done with the S2S stuff. I wanted to get it out as soon as I could, but I keep hitting brick walls.

then don't you think that you should update that on the thread saying your gonna update it because i didn't read anywhere you where going to update... please keep in note i just got here... sooo?
You're mod is amazing, and in my opinion it is the best mod for Minecraft. Especially people who play on public servers and don't have access to World Edit and such. Please ignore members that choose to ignore common sense. Your mod is very in depth, and definitely not one I'd expect up and available so quickly.
Amazing mod! Thank you for this.I'm having trouble, however, in that my schematic won't save (clicking the 'save' button does nothing in-game, and nothing shows up in the schematics folder). Please help! The following lines do show up in the console:
at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.launch(Launch.java:131)
at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:27)
I'm running the FTB Monster modpack (v1.0.5), which runs Minecraft version 1.6.4. Thanks for any response. The public server I'm playing on is about to reset, so I'm trying to save my house design.
edit: The following is in the schematica log, every time I try to save:

I'll look into it. It appears that it's the vanilla class failing or just ForgeMultipart doing something wrong, can't tell right now. I'll see what I can do with it.
Please try build #61, that should save the schematic, log which tile entity/block fails and replace it with bedrock. That way at least (hopefully) most of the schematic can be still saved.
I'm curious about the status of MCP and Forge...there are a lot of versions out there in their githubs, but (at least in Forge), it doesn't say anywhere if they're beta or not...a bit confusing :/
For forge they don't have a stable 1.7.2 version yet, they are pushin out an update every 2-4 days since christmas... Check out their download page (http://files.minecraftforge.net/), the recomended is the latest stable version but it still is 1.6.4. MCP is another question entriely... I'll leave that to someone more knowladgable...
Any of the 1.7.2 build of Forge will state that they're beta on the main screen. And the MCP that forge is using is in alpha (unless MCP was already updated and I missed that). One thing is for sure though, MCP for 1.7.2 didn't get a proper release yet, but Forge still works (apart from the mappings).
you'll write that at least 2109210392 times in the next month!
I wonder why people keep asking the same thing...
If that was true I'd have to write roughly 800 messages per second. I'd really have to be a wizard for that.

Sort of a status update: maybe you're read it in my other thread already, but my time is very limited, by nature itself. Powerlines go out almost every hour, internet barely works. I try to work on the mods with the limited time frames I get.
I could simply ignore the forums and work things away as much as I possibly can, but people would declare me dead if I didn't check the forum often enough.
Well, you can build by layer, and ignore all the dirt/sand, or you could build it in singleplayer without the dirt or sand, then save that as a schematic, but I don't know if you can actually filter out certain blocks...
BTW, I'm a bit noob with this mod, so can you tell me if you can filter out certain blocks of your schematic? For example, if you don't wanna see any dirt or sand in your stone brick fortress schematic...

For now using some replacement block is the best way to go. Added it to suggestions so I don't forget.
Glad to see you're able to properly start updating.
It saved me a lot of time. Just waiting for the MCP mapping update reduced the compile errors from around ~700 down to ~340. Right now I'm down to 74, hoping to get rid of all compile errors today. Then I'll need a bit of time to get everything working (I can only assume that things will crash on the initial run).
Edit: I don't work on things when I can't, but when I can, I work fast.
