I took a look at the list and I can see that it does seem to need a bit of help being populated (it seems you get plenty of suggestions though), but I noticed that the modding instructions is just a video; I know a lot of people, like myself, much prefer a simple text version, it can be easier and less confusing, I mean, something as simple as;
Click Windows and type %appdata% in the search bar.
Inside appdata will be a .minecraft folder, open it.
Open bin in the .minecraft folder and find your minecraft.jar
If you have winrar, right click minecraft.jar and either extract or open with and select winrar.
(optional) if you have 7zip, you will have to hover over 7zip in the contest menu when rightclicking for the same options.
Do the same with any downloaded modification.
I know there are far better instructions out there, but it is six in the morning and very cold, these instructions could easily work in a pinch and most modifications that require it do have some form of instructions on it. The good mods anyway. I do hope this proves to be intelligible and helpful.
That page leaves out any option of a thread with multiple mods. Do we submit each individual mod all linking to the same forum thread or do we answer with answers that don't pertain to the actuality of the situation?
Genre should include "Multi" as well as an "other" option.
Well the 1.4 patch wasn't as large as 1.3.2. And the 1.4.1 patch only causes slight issues for people so updating to 1.4.1 from 1.4 wasn't to bad. I didn't have to change hardly anything. And neither did cpw.
Well I will rephrase, cpw didn't have to charge hardly anything on ironchest exclusively. We all know of all the hard work he puts into FML.
