You should make a small medium and large version of each house to add a little variety. They would each require a different block in the crafting recipe. Small house requires a wood or cobble block in the middle, A medium requires a iron ingot in the middle and a large requires a diamond in the middle(it would have to be a mansion to cost a diamond) Great Mod though. I have seen some like this but they make really stupid looking houses.

Thanks for the support I'm in the middle of coding other structures, they just take a while
Epic. 'Nuff said.
BUT i'll still say more,
Houses seem a bit.... OP? Maybe a diamond or somesh*t to craft each one, and make moar houses, like sheds, or 2 or 3 story homes, or even mansions, if you need .schematics, I can make some, but this mod needs more variety.
Otherwise, nice mod.

@Phobophobe how goes the updates / new additions? I'm still actively following this topic and would like to know how things are progressing :3 Thank you. For possible house suggestions I recommend checking out the 1.4.2 millenaire update as the different cultures would be great if they had different recipes.
Such as using wheat / house materials possibly for farmers house. Or using more than 1 furnace to make a black smith themed house. No lava unless you made lava buckets part of the recipe.
Maybe making some sets be duplicates of npc village houses, so say if you wanted more churches / other buildings so you can add additions to npc villages and maybe get some iron golems to spawn when your neighborhoods fill up :3.
Like the mod. Allows me to carry constructions into other dimensional mods, which is a rare thing to make it work on those cases.
What you might want to do is allow a way to customize the buildings. "Why? Isn't OP enough as it is?" one might ask. Well, I picture beyond survival - if this mod allowed to configure custom constructions into the blocks, you could carry previous builds you made or even take from somewhere and place in your map.
In resume: if you could make an external and editable file where the building can be changed or - even better, but much harder to do - make it compatible with Mcedit templates, this mod would become a very powerful map making tool.
It is merely a sugestion. Good luck with your mod.
Terrivel_World That is an amazing idea o_o. This mod would become so powerful in and of itself. The logistics may be a bit harder since you would have to define 'blocks' to flag regions similar to protecting something on a server. (I'm imagining diagonal corners to establish a zone) then to have something use that exported data / world save. I imagine it to be atleast 2 tools, but if you can do it all in 1 mod how awesome it would be :3. That idea seems to take away from the 'heart' of this mod since it is called 'instant house' not 'structure export tool for mc edit purposes' but i don't see why it couldn't eventually build up to that point.
Great idea though if anyone hasn't made a mod touching on that already. I personally stay away from mc edits and things of that nature but great idea.
can you make bigger houses that are harder to craft
Yuup I'm updating this right now actually, not adding anything new, but I'm touching up the existing structures, and changing the code so I will be able to update much more frequently
maybe he can change the stone tools in the brick house, for iron tools, i will wait for upgrade versions
Did I help? +1 my reputation!

This will be in the next update

Actually the pool was changed to use cobblestone blocks, which is in the post, so there isn't free iron

.schematics would be golden. Please PM me
Sweet thanks for the review

My 2 cents ^^. Thank you for this great mod.
