This post is to meet the requirement laid out by NeptunePink with regard to usage of the Factorization mod in a private modpack.
The modpack will be distributed by the Feed The Beast private pack system. The server is a private server with zero advertisement, meant only for friends and family, with only about 5 or 6 players.

More testing seems to show that a maxed-mirrors setup around a set of boilers can power 5 (five!) industrial steam engines, producing 40 MJ/t! A very nice alternative to railcraft boilers I feel, as there is no requirement of setting up infrastructure for fuel production, and you can set it up to power FZ machines as well. Here's my setup:
EDIT: The sandstone blocks block 2 mirrors at the bottom - I recommend substituting daylight sensors for them so that all mirrors are powered.
Engines are in an x pattern, power comes from levers/whatever on blocks in between
Pipes come up from boilers and feed engines from the sides

Felt inclined to tell you that I'm making a private modpack using your mod for less than 10 people on my private server. Please PM me if you need more information or do not want me to use the mod.

ive found a bug that cause crashing of the game and inabilty to load the same chunks afterwards involveing the mixer
if the mixer has 3 slots full and then prossess something it will crash
I'm making my own private modpack, but as soon I add FZ, RedPower gives me errors... slot X already exists.... Even if I change autoassign to 1, still the same. How I can get FZ working with RP2? PS: Using 1.4.7 version... then how I can get the barrels thing... its only this item I want

Don't use RP's autoassign! Manually adjust the numbers yourself in the configs.
I am having a bit of an issue. I'm using ME "applied energistics," and have an alveary connected to two routers - one import and one export. The import is pumping in undamaged frames and the export damaged frames, but the second router isn't recognizing the damage value on damaged frames, so it's pulling out ALL frames. Any idea why this is? The export router has both the Machine Filter and Item Filter upgrades, but can't seem to tell the difference between damage values.
To clarify, both are attached to ME buses to pull out damaged frames and insert in fresh ones. I'm pumping damaged frames into an Ars Magica reconstructer and then putting them back into ME -> Router -> Alveary frame housing.
Ok, I had a weird bug once upon a time that forced me to uninstall Factorization. It was a weird incompatibility with Buildcraft causing the game to crash whenever I looked at the laser block in any screen. The bug has repeated itself with a different mod that simply adds a lamp to the game. It is the lamp mod. It's from a Japanese forum so I can't really post there. It occurs in the exact same way. With the wrath lamp I conclude that Buildcraft hates lamps. If anyone knows how to fix this weird bug with either mod I'm sure that the fix will apply to both.
Absolutely beautiful. I'm totally going to rip off this design for my survival world. Though I think ill place a Liquid tesseract or ender tank on top instead so I can get the power/steam out of it without interfering with the mirrors too much, maybe dump the steam into giant railcraft steel tank for day and night power. But for pure factorization, I don't think there is any topping your design.
Hope someone can help me here... I setup a big array of barrels next to a router. I think there are 30 or so barrels, 3 high and 10 long.
Each one has a different item in it. I crafted and installed all of the router upgrades so I could see what they were like. When I right click the router, I see Insert with a -- next to it. I left clicked Insert, and then it changed to "Eject" and crashed out.
