Why are you using such an old version of Factorization?
she is old? I thought newer 107....
thank you, I take a 100 )))
BUT Factorization-1.7.10-0.8.100.jar so same problem with the new OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_D6 too
[10:37:48] [Client thread/WARN]: * A broken ore dictionary registration with name sludge has occurred. It adds an item (type: classfactorization.shared.ItemCraftingComponent) which is currently unknown to the game registry. This dictionary item can only support a single value when registered with ores like this, and NO I am not going to turn this spam off. Just register your ore dictionary entries after the GameRegistry.
TO USERS: YES this is a BUG in the mod Factorization report it to them!

Now this mod could really take off, especially if it added a few multi-block structures for certain things, taking inspiration from Immersive Engineering and Flaxbeard's Steam Power Mod.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Well I'm making a series (recorded only, not uploaded at the moment, I plan to soon) about the additions of mod features in terms of items/blocks and more, not the technical changes. And I dug a bit and found many, and I mean many 1.2.5-1.7.10 versions if people are interested about factorization's past, besides that the 1.8.9 on the first page of this thread (its in a spoiler somewhere). Its not much, I mention the details in the last line of my comment.
I'm sad this mod is dying/dead. I see it and go, this is cool, but it disappears the next or is not that well respected for a mod that was just as good as the other mainstream mods out there. I forgot about it after 1.7.2. But when making my history of mods series to highlight the start and newest of mods through MC mod versions where I found out many items/blocks and more.
I have a new mod shown each episode. I'm not trying to promote, just saying what I'm doing to highlight mods that matter to people mainstream or not. I'm a less known mods player now and mod spotlighting less known mods for creators that need attention, so old or new projects I'd love to save. I two have mods dropped in 1.7.10 that I'd love to see continued, so I get why you all are wanting it to be alive still. Factorization's episode is about ep19. So, it will be a while.
But here is the older versions if anyone is curious:
I hope this mod goes back up. At least its on 1.7.10, that is a good thing, since 1.7.10 has lots of modders still on it. Many mods have still stopped, been ported or many other reasons. But hopefully the community that remembers it continues to, or someone picks up the mod. I hope. I loved the 1.4.7 version in tekkit, and wanted to play more of it but just never had the time or forgot, now I want to try it again in 1.7.10 or lower and see what I can do with it. Also the 1.8.9 is like 1.7.10 but stripped away since it was probably a WIP still.

Gold/silver blocks placed next to solar mirrors stop working after restarting the game until broken/replaced (or maybe block updated? I know that's a concept but not sure how to do). 1.7.10
hey i have something being spammed in the forge logs, FZDS failed to render is being spammed when i walk on a collosus and i breaked 2 of the fractured blocks on the collosus and it still isnt doing anything, any help?
I have a similar issue with the Colossus in the FTB Direwolf20 1.7.10 modpack. I can break the Fractured Dark Iron once in the Colossus and it will fall down as normal, but then when I break a second such block, all it does is animate, swing its arms or legs and start to move around. It never gets past this stage to where it becomes a fightable boss. I've done this with about a dozen of these, with the same outcome. And when it is in this second stage, blocks on it cannot be mined and it cannot attack or be attacked.
I've pretty much given up trying to get one of them to the point where I can fight it like in a Youtube video about it.
So I've been given access to the Factorization GitHub repository and decided to fix a few lingering bugs. neptunepink seems to have given me some kind of approval, so I guess you can call this - Factorization 0.8.109 - the new official 1.7.10 release.
Changes:
Let the coremod accept certain different patch failures for pseudo-compatibility w/ OptiFine! (For some reason, FZDS works on OptiFine now.) (#4)
Fixed barrel GLAllocation crash bug (#13)
Fixed registering OreDictionary entries too early (#5)
So, it's mostly a bugfix release for the few issues which were reported on GitHub. You can download it here.
Note that the OptiFine compatibility might cause crashes with certain minimap mods. It's one or the other - without access to OptiFine source code, we cannot really do better at this time. (Or you can disable FZDS, but why would you disable FZDS? That'd be a colossal loss which the fate of your modpack could hinge on.)
For those of you who have been awaiting a 1.10+ update, I don't have great news - it's likely not going to happen. Factorization itself is pretty much abandoned. However, I have been taking in some of its features (the Pocket Crafting Table, the barrels, some of the gameplay tweaks) and rewriting them in my own mod called Charset, which is available - in some form - for Minecraft 1.10.2 and 1.12.2. It doesn't really have a website right now, but that's being worked on. More features may come at some point, as well as its own new features.

I've been searching for about an hour... I know this is old, but where is the link for downloading 0.8.107? (or newer, for 1.7.10)
I'm also a newb at github things. If it's in that place, how do I get the .jar?
Thanks to anyone who can help me!
