Hey, let's be nice. He probably just misread or didn't quite understand.
To hell with being, friendly. If they don't understand, so be it. If they post something that if they read correctly and did research wouldn't have to inquire, so let them be flamed. If you want to be nice, so be it, but don't assume that we'll follow. People on the internet can be complete assholes, but hey, that's the way it is. So, yeah, we don't have to be nice. Sure, it's be nice if we could, but if that was true, prisons be'd useless.
On a related matter, wrong section, but great concept.

Well I assumed that because he's been a member for over 2 years and has over 1000 posts that he most likely knows the concept of Redstone wiring and the basic mechanics of Minecraft... so I assumed that it was a simple misunderstanding and that perhaps I hadn't made it perfectly clear to everyone.
But point taken.
On a related matter, wrong section, but great concept.
And thank you. If I knew how to move the thread, I would.
The thing about a realm specifically for editing is that it would take time to make the circuit instead of point and click.
I was aiming for a more "realistic" feel and quick editing, so I completely agree with having a book to store circuits, but I don't know if I like to whole teleporting to a new realm to edit.
I may not be very experienced, but if someone else joined up with this I would help for coding. I'm not quite sure how we could go about this, but it's a very good idea.
I know this is in the wrong section, but let me say that this would be amazing to have. Just imagine if this idea were to be adopted by Eloraam of RedPower? Her logic blocks for normal sized circuits and this (being an advanced tech/high tier) for where your insanely tight for space.
Hell, in the right hands, you could design a full out calculator in the space of only a few blocks. Just the main problem would be input/output...perhaps some sort of special adapter?
With your permission, I can start work on this today. I have an idea that just might work!
Absolutely.
By all means feel free to start working on it. If you wish to gain some additional help, you may also spread the word.
Also, if you don't mind... could you keep me posted with your work as it unfolds? I'm currently trying to work out some smaller details for the mod (using what little coding I know) and it would be easier to communicate ideas for compiling in the future (if it gets that far).
By all means feel free to start working on it. If you wish to gain some additional help, you may also mention this to other modders. Just don't forget to mention where you got the idea.

Cool! I'm experimenting with different methods right now, one that works but I would never, ever, EVER in the name of all that is holy present as a mod. The other methods should work when they're finished and should be a lot better than the first one I mentioned. A little less alternate-dimension-y, if you catch my drift.
Nesting these things. So you can build from the ground up a full, very complex system all in the size of a single block.
Assuming that the mod was coded right to support it and had a computer beefy enough to, that 8x8 grid starts expanding at an exponential rate.
one level of nesting gets you (8x8)^2, just with one level now you can have a 4096 gate block. 2 levels get you 262144 gates in a single block... that's just 2 levels of nesting there.
I have No Java experience at all, but, if you need textures or such, I could be of assistance.
Very glad to finally have some serious interest in my mod. I welcome any programmers willing to put in the effort to make this happen. I will cover all of the graphic design as I have a specific look I would like to achieve with this; however, all ideas or concepts are welcome.
If you need GUI's or textures, just PM me and I'll throw them up on Mediafire or something.
This mod is sort of on hiatus for me at the moment. I have some other projects to work on and just didn't have the interest I had hoped for.
Please keep me posted with all progress made as it will be easier to collaborate together.
Are you brain dead?

I sent her a message but she hasn't replied yet.
That was an idea I had... definitely seems like it would be a solution.
Absolutely.

It would be an honor to have this mod in one of his spotlights.
