Could you possibly add a config file, so that the ID can be configured? For me it's being used up by Buildcraft, and I can't change Buildcraft's because of the world I already have.
Sure thing! I'm planning on releasing another update soon, but it's been on my list to figure out how to set up config files for all the mods before then.
Hi there. Is there any way you could add triangular blocks like the superslopes mod so we could add arches to our creations
thank you
Not really interested in figuring that out, sorry. That author already did a pretty solid job on the slope stuff (which should be compatible, assuming it's been updated), so I'm not really sure what I could add or change to make it worth putting the effort forward.
Quick update for this week: I've just finished and uploaded my third mod, "Useful Storage"; more info and a link to download can be found in the first post (working on Forge versions now, shouldn't be too long before they're up). Please let me know if there are any issues or if you have any feedback in general.
Also, I added optional config support to all of my mods. You can now change all blockIDs, and choose between certain configurations - like whether or not to enable the Terraria-style wood-chopping in "Better Wood". More options will be added in the future.
...One question though: what are the two optionnal classes for?
EDIT: Could the redstone block be used as a true redstone device? for example, for vertical connection?
EDIT2: Why crafting the nether brick wall with nether fences? why not with bricks Sorry, I realized that fences were craftable... I didn't know.
1) Changes to the bc.class make Animals run away from Scarecows when they get too close. Changes to xa.class allow you to create Scarecows using pumpkins (like the other golems). If you choose not to install either of these, the rest of the mod should continue to run just fine.
2) Not at the moment, sorry. My plan is to make it connect to wire/pass current in all directions eventually - but mainly as a fun aesthetic thing. It's much too expensive to be useful as a redstone device
3) No worries! I don't really explain that anywhere (except for one vague picture in the OP), so it's a bit hard to miss. Couldn't do much about Mojang already using the recipe, unfortunately.
Er, whoops! Forgot I changed the download link. Should work again now (though I'll be updating it again sometime soon this morning).

And thanks! I'm glad you like it so far
Thank you for your answer! Well, I don't think 9 redstone is that expensive if it helps getting the redstone signal high above the floor^^
I just had an idea: why not a slime block that bounces and glows?
Slime block should indeed have physics and if possible, bounce a bit when dropping
Redstone block is a bit different appearance than I would expect, hoping to get some vertical redstone, etc with it eventually, but the coal block is perfect!
With 1.3 forcing ssp and smp together, all mods should get smp compatibility, so..
But still, I would love for the block mod to be in smp :3
Good job with your mods, and I wish you success Koop!
Getting the better logs and useful storage mods now Hope they dont conflict with things xD

Just updated the OP with the newest Forge versions of every mod (including Fancy Fences - config options and blocks showing up in the creative inventory were broken with Forge). Sorry about the wait!
Hey man, I made a review for your mod
(Btw, the pig thing is me trying something out, if I do reviews of your other mods, they may or may not have him in)
Let me bother you one more time
I use both ModLoader and Forge, what version should I pick?
The ModLoader version works fine, but the optional classes do not.
The Forge version's textures are messed up, and the optional classes do not work as well (that could be an incompatibility given the number of mods I use)

D'oh. Turns out I threw the wrong texture folder into the Forge version. The download should be fixed now, but please let me know if there are any more issues.
Edit: Optional classes should be fine (probably just an incompatibility like you said), but I'll double check in a bit to make sure.
Very nice, throwing this up in the first post now.
Also that name is fantastic! Totally going to steal that if you don't mind, haha
Thanks again! Was in need of a video for this one, so I'll go ahead and put it in the first post now.

Thanks! On SMP support: I'm looking into it. No guarantees that it will come soon, but it's definitely on my list

O.o
I've waited for a mod such as Useful Storage for looong. One question though: what are the two optionnal classes for?

this morning).Edit: Having a few issues setting up config and creative inv support. Still, update should be up later today (at the very least with a config file)

Screens in the spoiler
Thanks, I'll add it to the first post now!
Crap, my bad! I'll upload a fixed version soon.

Edit2: Yep - they seem to be working on my end.
