I had a bug with the MobDimenberment mod 1.2.5v4 and the MobAmputation mod 1.2.5v3, when I kill a zombie (or skeleton, pigzombie and creeper) I had each gibs twice, and when I shoot the head of a pigmen, I had a skeleton head =/
The texture of the pigman head is actually like a skeleton, but its not really, so that's how it really looks.
About the bug, I don't get you. I tried killing some mobs but i don't get regibbing like you said. Could you show me what you mean?
iChun, the regibbing problem appears when both of your mods are installed (dismemberment and amputation). Will you make these two work better with each other?

I was actually going to request a mod like this a while ago but never got to it. It was going to be called Limbs Matter. And it would do exactly what this does!

I think it would be nice if the following acted as such (All Un-noted should be normal):
Note: Non-Undead should not beable to survive decapitation.
Creeper - If his head is removed does not produce, SSSSS noise. Upon Detonateing its limbs are thrown out by the explosion.
Blaze - If one of his "arms" is removed it will make him slower moving and eventually stop moving when he has none.
Villiger - Normal Dismemberment but you can remove their noise as well.
Spider - Like the blaze its arms control speed. Slower Climbing with less arms as well.

You don't have the dismemberment mod installed twice, do you?
Its strictly SMP.
Are you running forge? What version are you on if you are? I suspect its forge's ticking issues which was fixed in a recent build.
