Here's the rate I use... 2 per chunk, with 93%. This makes them so they aren't everywhere, but they still spawn enough to make it so you don't go too long without seeing one. I feel like this makes them a lot more valuable too when you have to work a bit to find the rare ones. So far though I've found that no matter what the Water spawn rate remains set to the default. Also, be careful if you use a server since editing the config can lead to chunk reversion on the map.

Also, everyone should head over to http://pixelmon.free...ings-t1521.html and submit their own buildings! I go by "Twisted Knickers" on those forums.

My house is by the beach and I can see 9 trainers in the water, maybe theyre not using the config formula either?
