Having a problem where I was in a battle with another pokemon and it wanted to learn a new ability but I wasn't given time to select. It was up for a few seconds then went immediately on to selecting the next attack before I could choose the new ability.

This is actually something being worked on. It would just be simple to force the second participant of a battle to wait..
I did a little research on MissingNo.Don't remember having that glitch. I was so little when I started playing pk in the nintendo, and not much older when I quitted, so my memory is not that perfect....
Some pokemon are also ride able out of battle but this feature was removed temporarily due to servers crashing whenever a player mounted their pokemon.
Teleport is normally used outside of battle to take you to the last place you healed like a pokemon center or your house, and in battle it makes you run away from wild pokemon, but right now teleport currently has no features so that is why i made that suggestion.
I don't know if the the hm moves have any features right now but here's a couple of suggestions: cut can be used near a tree to cut it down, rock smash can be used to smash stone/cobble like a 3 by 3 hole, Strength could be used to make a pokemon carry a block it is next to.
Assuming you have 1.3.2, you go to the cheats menu (press "t" during game) and type /spawn -nameoftrainer- 1 and press enter. There are 3 trainers available (for now): youngster 1 & 2, and bug catcher.

Ok, so you go to your pixelmon.cfg file (in the config folder, .minecraft) and open it. If you scroll down a little, you should see something about spawn rates and Nº of pks per chunk and that. Just set the values higher: for example, if you had a maxium of 1 pk per chunk, set it to 4 or 3 pks, and if you have a 70% of chances of an empty chunk, set that to 30% or 20%. That should spawn more pokemons!

I have no idea of that. Up to 1.7.6a, all my pokemons, included the ones you mentioned, have the apropiate skins. It is probably a conflict between mods, a bug of your computer, or something; but it definetly isn't an archive bug. Have you got the apropriate forge for the instalation? maybe an older forge causes the conflict...
This in 1.7.6b? Check the mods zip and see if the pokemon who don't have textures have got a capital letter at the start of their texture name. If so, make it lower case but I'm pretty sure that 1.7.6b doesn't have this problem
Oh well. can't really blame the guy for not knowing about Missingno(s) even though Red and Blue are notable for it. God looking back to those games, they are pretty bad aren't they. I mean as in the sheer amount of glitches, bugs, and especially the god awful sprites (which they had no excuse for).

Well me and a number of friends were working on them for about 7 hours yesterday i was there from 1 am to 8 am (I did an all nighter xD) becuase i live in the uk so im about 6 hours ahead of everyone in America, anyway we recorded a lot of it and Jaryt is gonna upload it soon so you should watch some of it (BTW we think your gonna love the ghost mansion it took us a while to build but it is amazing

I love this mod, but I just have a couple suggestions on what u should add!. i know some of this can be hard and i have no experience with mods so i will not get mad if none of these are added:
-u should add "mineable" fossils of omanyte and kabuto and all the other fossils, but like make it so u have to mine their head, body and legs and arms, etc. then there should be a machine to make em come to life. this would add a cool job for any server.
-cave pokemon like geodude and onix should be found in caves and ravines, to make them harder to find and more realistic
-u should add a new biome with big stone/dirt mountains, caves, etc for all those kinda pokemon
-idk how hard this would be, but at some point actually have animations for moves, like tackle, wing attack, flamethrower, etc
-the legendaries should be given a new dimension like enderdragon, and ya but for multiplayer have more of them spawn
-u should be able to have a machine and trade
just a few ideas and if any of them are added, itd blow me away

Zubat nor golbat are visible when they're wild. After you catch them and throw 'em, they are visible however.
