This mod adds Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald ores, tools, armour, blocks, half slabs and stairs!
The crafting recipes are the same as normal.
The tools and armour have 2000 uses and are a bit stronger then diamond.
This is also my first minecraft mod so what do you think about it?
Please note that this mod requires modloader!
1. Go to start and search for %appdata%.
2. Go to Roaming/.minecraft/bin.
3. Open minecraft.jar with winrar or something else.
4. Drag all the files in the More Ores Mod [1.2.5] v1.1.1.zip to minecraft.jar.
5. Download modloader here and drag all the files inside the modloader.zip in the minecraft.jar.
6. Delete META-INF.
7. Close everything and play minecraft!
Lots of bug fixes
Ores now give 2 gems
Added half slabs.
Blocks now showing in creative inventory.
There's nothing invalidated, as there's no argument. There's the simple fact that this mod does nothing that hasn't been done a hundred times and done better.
Damn.. you're making such a big deal about nothing, don't you have anything better to do?
To the OP: The mod is simple, and I like simple mods that just add a few things, but you should consider putting up some more info in the main post. For example, how much uses does each of them have? How fast are they compared to vanilla tools? Do they actually differ from each other?

Mods like these, that take little to no time or skill sicken me. They are used to loop people into clicking an adfly link and that's it. That's why it's worthless.
Yes because people should spend all their time on Minecraft mods, honing their skills just to please you.
This dude(tte) simply made a small mod, You were not invited, forced or even mentioned to this thread so you have little right to judge it so harshly.
Their use of the ad.fly link is indeed a fail and shouldn't be used on such a small mod however this modding community and game isn't about the largest and best thing out there, it's about doing your own thing, this mod is merely an attempt at doing exactly that and it clearly isn't trying to become the market standard.
If you don't like the mod nor the ad.fly link then simply leave, nothing gained, nothing lost.
Also if a childs Minecraft mod is what you're getting riled up about then either your priorities are messed up or you should seek anger management.
