I think it would be better if the furniture are rendered as blocks when in item form, getting rid of the need for item textures. While it does use textures from the loaded texture pack for the blocks which I like, it ain't the same for the items. If you're using an HD texture pack, you would want to have HD textures of the items so they would fit with the rest of the HD-textured items. Just a suggestion.

I have taken this into consideration as soon as I switched to Forge. The reason I don't want to is because I think detailed models rendered to the inventory looks ugly. That's why Hoppers and Cauldrons are not rendered like that.

I think you should add a sink to the bathroom update if you weren't already thinking of that. if the electric update wins then you should add a tv also if you weren't already thinking of that. i love this mod, i use it alot! you should make it so furniture spawns in the villagers houses.
I dont like that there is a small amaunt of furniture variety (comparing it to jammy furniture). But i love that this has texture pack support, so i like this mod more. This is very nice.
It would be nice if the mod would support the different types of wood in the game. I have other mods install, and don't mod so I do not know what goes into having a mod support that type of stuff, but it would be awesome just the same.Oh, and add a config file so you can fix ID conflicts, I almost dumped the mod cause I had to edit other config files to make yours work. I like to start working in new mod that is causing the conflict, not existing mods that I have documented their IDs.
However im having some difficulties with the garden path block, mobs cannot walk on it they just bounce constantly. Normally it wouldnt bother me but with Thaumcraft installed it renders my golems unable to do their work. Also whenever I place one it adds a [INFO]0 or [INFO]1 to the console.
edit - actually it seems the hitboxes on a lot of blocks are a little...off, the blinds for example glitch me out if i get near them.
Woops. I must of forgot to remove my debugging code. That's the reason for the 0 and 1. The hit boxes are being funny, I know. I have been trying to fix them for a while.

The amount of work I put into one item takes a while. So that is why I don't have a crazy amount of items
You are very late. First version was release a year and a half ago!
I know, I know. But I think I mostly avoided furniture mods because I was trying to create my own one But I got so stuck with the custom renderers that I gave up. I USED to know how to do it, before 1.3 or 1.2, whenever it was that the client and server were combined.
Found a few problems in this otherwise awesome mod.
1. The crafting recipes for some blocks don't work (fridge, bedside cabinet)
2. The game crashes when i try to place a fridge in survival mode

Anyone else having issues with the White Picket Fence and animals? They seem to want to hump/jump it all day long. Also the Stone paths are made in such a way that the creepers and other mobs jump up and down on them but can't move forward somehow. Weird...
I noticed this aswell. Seems to be an issue with Optifine connected textures option. I suggest using glass panes, as they seem to be unaffected by this bug

Yeah. 1.3's code changed a lot and custom renders changed too. I cant recall the fix but it was simple.
Will the garden update ever support ModLoader instead of Forge? :/ Or did you permanently switch to Forge? It's just that I was never able to figure out how to install Forge without my Minecraft crashing upon startup. Sorry if you've already answered this question.

Same installation as modloader, really

I have left ModLoader due to compatibility issues. Sorry but this is the start of the future of modding for Minecraft.

It's nothing I can fix easy. It's something to do with AI.

A lot of people misunderstand this. It supports ANY texture pack.

I am aware of this and am not sure how to fix the problem. I will keep looking into it.

Also, are you going to apply the garden update (and future updates) to the modloader version? (Not everyone likes using forge, i don't)
