The bug affects not only water or a specific block of a mod, but also any transparent block within the chunk area where the chair is placed. You can make a test yourself: build a wall of glass blocks and then place a chair next to it, you'll see the all sides of glass blocks, including those between the blocks, will be rendered.
EDIT: you can see this effect in the glass blocks behind the anvil in the images that I posted above.

I have come to really like this mod, but I have a question.
Why do the hedges only stack to 8? It makes it very annoying when I'm tying to used them to fence a large area... It would be a lot nicer if they stacked to 64.
Edit: In fact why does everything seem to only stack to 8?

I have been having so much fun with your mod~ Making the outside so pretty with hedges and stepping stones. Can't wait to finish my house so I can start putting furniture in there~ And I love the fact that it's all texture pack compatible! Why can't all mods that use vanilla blocks do that? It would make life so much easier...
Also I was wondering if you could make a way to change what wood is used for the cabinets(or maybe even other things)? I mean I do like birch wood, but I'd rather them be in oak... I find that the birch outside with the spruce door against oak walls to be too much contrast...
Which HD-Texture Packs are compatible with this mod? I can't seem to find any. x64 or x128, anyone?
Forget it. I was an iDiot.
By the way, I've found out that the mod isn't fully compatible with GLSL shaders. Behind the blinds is rippling water and the curtains are also rippling like water.
Also glass pane connects to curtains and blinds when they're closed.

If you have optifine, that might be the cause of the water. When a blind or curtain is closed, it is counted as a solid block (this blocks light) and glass panes connect to solid blocks.
Is this mod compatible with Jammy Furniture? I have them both installed, and they both work, but I can't find the freezer from this mod anywhere, not in the creative menu, or nei, not anywhere.......
edit: I took a look through the zip and don't see a texture for the freezer. Version 2.8.4
could you change the crafting recipe for the oven from iron blocks to iron ingots?
I want to second this request, and ditto for the fridge & freezer (if the freezer uses iron blocks, I don't remember atm).
Using blocks just seems too expensive. 7 blocks for the fridge = 63 iron ingots, just to have a 15 slot container. I can see the oven maybe, b/c you can cook multiple items (I think, I haven't even used the oven yet). Of course this isn't a big deal for creative, but I play survival and man 63 irons is expensive. If you think using iron ingots will make the recipe too cheap, then how about come up with a new item, say 2 or 3 iron ingots to make a 'iron frame' or something (an appliance block, hah!), then use that in the recipes?

I'm having a few problems again... not sure if you have these fixed in the next version, or if they have even been brought up, but I thought I should report them.
First, I'm having so graphical issues with the bedside tables with flickering when place facing a certain direction, this could just be an optifine thing... Picture link a little hard to tell in a still image, but that darker bit on the front is the flickering bit.
Second, is when I place a bedside table(or maybe other furniture) I get strange lag when breaking or placing any block in the area... but once I remove the furniture item it stops.
I just wanted to ask, the texture pack support picture that you posted, do you have the patch at all for Sphax? It's not on their forums and I there doesn't seem to be any trace of a link or anything online proving where it's at? If you could tell me where I may find said patch, I'd love it!

Not much, but a little token of my appreciation. Great mod, keep at it.
