Ok I downloaded the Jar file, opened using WinRAR, and copied all the files from the gulliver server file into it. When i tried to access my server, it says "Internal exception: java.IOException: Bad packet id 171"
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? O.o
It means your client needs to have Gulliver installed too
But wait, I thought you already had it installed earlier? What does your ModLoader.txt say?
so... when installed it i couldn't access any of my old worlds and when i made a new world in survival it worked for about 2 minutes then all of all suden miencraft crashed. i closed and reopened minecraft and made a new world in creative and it imeadiatley crashed again. i repeated this proccess 2 more times and got the same results. this has not happened with any other mods before. very confused

oh and i forgot to mention i used to have mcpatcher installed this could be the reason for the crashes

From the sound of it, you might've installed Gulliver into the %appdata%\.minecraft\mods folder by mistake. (It needs to go into the %appdata%\.minecraft\minecraft.jar instead.)
Are you able to get a crash report? Your %appdata%\.minecraft\ModLoader.txt would help too.
(Note to myself - try out MC Patcher to see how its mod installation process may be confusing new users...)
First could you find way to be able to ride the mounts of CSM when small and also have them attack you when you are small? (it could be an optinal add on)
two, make it where you can choose if jump hight should stay at 1 minimum because my cows always jump out of their fence!

no i installed it properly and it just didn't work. anyway i deleted .minecraft and re-made it then installed it again and there were no problems this time
how do you install littleblocks mod and gulliver in a vanilla server?
yes i use the minecraft_server.exe
is there an order because i install modloaderMP little blocks then gulliver and run it it just says "bah"
Whenever I try to embiggen myself on my server, I get an "Illegal Stance" error. Ensmallen potions work, but there isn't any small effects for anyone else. I.E If I ensmallen myself, my brother will still see me as normal sized, even though I act like I'm small. We both have all the mods needed to get it working, on both the client and the server. Is there a fix to this?
unclemion hav you thought about making the potion where you shrink with gray mushrooms and grow with red mushrooms? also can you make the potion where you stay that size im having lots of trouble with keeping myself small in servers
I tried to install it, but the server didn't work. I couldn't grow or shrink, but I could make and drink the potions. Also, I kept falling through the world.....wtf. How do I fix this?

- Gulliver and Single Player Commands aren't quite compatible at the moment, but you can use the SPC "/ride" command to mount a Dirt Horse or such if you're small enough. (I adjusted it so creature "rideability" depends on the widths of the player & mount, not the gulliver resizing multiplier.)
- Are these small cows or big cows? Small cows should be kept in by a regular fence, but big cows can walk over them. You'll just need to use taller fences in that case
You should make it so small people have a smaller inventory
(this would be cool if you could!)
That would make some sense, but I'm not sure I want to mess with that. I've toyed with the idea of not letting extra-tiny players "hold" certain items, where the items will drop if you try to put them on your hotbar, much like what happens with armor.
Hi..
I cant figure out to get my player to 1/8 on a server.. I tried the command but it just says its an unknow console command.. Anyhelp?
Is the server using Gulliver v0.6? The console commands were added in v0.7. If you get ahold of some Cyan or Magenta Dye and don't change size, then the server is probably still at v0.6.

First, you need to get minecraft_server.jar instead of minecraft_server.exe, since you can't install mods to the exe.
Then install ModLoaderMP, then Little Blocks, then Gulliver.

You probably have the server mods installed in the wrong order, if you're also playing with Little Blocks like I assume you are. You'll need to get a clean minecraft_server.jar, then install in this order: ModLoaderMP server, Little Blocks server, Gulliver server.
Or do you have other server mods installed as well? I'd like to know which ones if you do.

Let's just say that potion recipes are very complicated to get working right. I agree it would make more sense to use brown mushrooms for small and red ones for big, or use Fermented Spider Eye to "corrupt" the big potion into a small one, but at least the current system works. It also has the advantage that you could "toggle" a small potion back into a big potion by adding another red mushroom, if you wanted to.
Potions are time-limited, but if you get your hands on some Cyan or Magenta Dye then those will change your size so long as you keep them in your inventory.

What other mods do you have installed on your minecraft client (besides ModLoader of course)? Did you install the mods manually, or with Magic Launcher, or with MCPatcher?
How about changing the R/F resizing so that the player grows/shrinks in 1/8 block increments, rather than doubling/halving the current size?
That's a pretty good idea actually How about if the size increments/decrements by 1/8 if you hold Shift when pressing R/F?
I hesitate to add that right now, though, because it's already pretty tricky for players to figure out whether they're back to "normal" size or not, and this would make it even harder to tell. Maybe once there's single player console commands for displaying and setting your size.
This mod is amazing! I'm having such fun with it!
but, just one question, is it compatible with the Mine Little Pony mod?
Your guess is as good as mine If it requires Forge then no, it's not.
Even if it doesn't require Forge, since Mine Little Pony changes the player's rendering, it probably conflicts with Gulliver on some classes.
I can't wait until this mod becomes compatible with SPC. (I'm not using it right now because I need SPC.)
Suggestion: Maybe you could add some text in the F3 that tells you what size you are or you could make it that the text shows when you're not normal size.
It means your client needs to have Gulliver installed too

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did have it installed, but then i got a premium account and i havn;'t reinstalled it.
