Were you able to resolve your issues with being able to craft things with our wood?
Yes, I was, it was another mod I was using (Multi Colored Things) that for whatever reason prevents your wood from being used as sticks, buttons or anything really. I let the other mod author know about it.

Great. I thought so, but wanted to make sure there wasn't something we needed to be looking at on our end.
There is no textures on the scarecrow when running the 1.5.2 backport. This is something I belive has been a problem before and fixed by just moving the textures to the right place? Not sure thought, could have been some other mod that had this problem. Atmos or something.
Is this a known problem or is it something wrong on my end?

I believe that Shecky said that there was a difference in the Scarecrow textures between 1.62 and the back port, but I am not sure. Unfortunately, he's on the road this week traveling for his job and is not available very much. As soon as I am able to talk with him or as soon as he can read the forums, one of us will let you know for sure.
My "no monsters" issue was resolved. Crudedragos gave me a DEV version of JAS that included new commands, and I was able to discover that a large rift spread (from the Dimensional Doors mod) was hogging the spawn cap to spawn Endermen. It seems that the rifts (tileEntities) are staying loaded even when a player isn't around - it's an unintentional behavior that's just been noticed by the author as well.
Unfortunately, the timing was such that the rift populated about the same time I updated a couple of mods (including EBXL). So, to be clear it was not an EBXL issue! Word to the wise though - if anyone notices a severe decline in monster population and you're using Dimensional Doors, you most likely have an out of control rift spread somewhere. Grab a pumpkin and get to work cleaning it up.

That's good to know that it wasn't something on our end. We appreciate your effort in tracking down what the culprit was. =)
I had this crash on my MC 1.5.2, can you fix it? :S

Simple biome ID conflict. Whichever mod has Savannah Plateau is using ID 39, and Green Hills tried to use 39 also.
Open up the configs for your mods that add biomes and make sure they all are using different ID numbers. Everything between 0-22 is used by vanilla (and they're adding more biomes in 1.7), so don't make the numbers too low. The highest number you can use is 255.

How can I stop that weird generating of NPCs system? It is so weird. One time, I saw door for one house about 20 blocks above ground!
That's just how vanilla minecraft generates villages. They sometimes generate in odd places and on multiple levels or even in the water. Currently we have no control over where they spawn within a biome. The only control we have is whether or not to have villages spawn in specific biomes.
I have a question, i could not find a complete answer here.
I read v4 would need new world, but if i use v3 now, in v4 IDs of same items/blocks stays untouched or it changes.
I would like to build something on v3 and cut this and place in v4 when it comes out, but I am not sure about IDs.
I am not sure if ID's for items would change between versions or not. We know that biome ID's most likely will have to once 1.7 comes out if Mojang adds all the biomes that they are talking about adding to vanilla. Because biome ID's have such a small range, most biome adding mods over lap each other to some degree, but with Mojang potentially adding a lot, it will take some of the ones that mod makers currently use.
The other reason that v3 to v4 might require a new world is because we will be using a new way to generate terrain. However, which way we go with that is a decision the team is working on right now. We are leaning more towards a way of doing terrain generation that might not break compatibility between v3 and v4 worlds, although there could be some strange terrain generation where biomes are added/removed. We will be adding a lot more trees and plants to v4 and want to keep our item ID's in the same range, but I can't guarantee at this point that no item ID's will change.
These are some of the things we are looking at as we move forward into v4.
I have a crash with Minecraft 1.6.2 that appears to be a conflict between Forestry 2.3.0.0 and ExtraBiomesXL 3.14.0:

Yes, that was a known issue because Forestry updated to an alpha build the day after we released 3.14.0. This is why we released 3.14.1...it fixed the API issue between EBXL and Forestry. You need to update EBXL to the most recent version for 1.6.2.
Can you fix a glitch where it removes most of the saplings? Which mods are known to be uncompatable with this mod? I have the Rei minimap, Mr crayfishes furniture mod, a mod witch adds polar bears and platypuses and some more animals (not mo' creatures), armour movement, backpack mod, bibliocraft, Ferullos gun mod, Better spawn eggs, Herobrine mod, Moar Food mod, Good nights sleep mod, 3D guns mod ( http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1723340-162-wip-forge-stefinus-3d-guns-mod-s3dgm/ ), Super heros mod, the camping mod, Too many items, twilightforest mod and balkons weapon mod.

I don't know what glitch you are talking about regarding saplings. Nothing like that has been reported before. I will need to know more information about that and which version you are using. We should be compatible with all Forge mods and I am not aware of any Forge mods that we are not compatible with.
Did I hear correctly that you guys had Forgotten Nature merge with this mod you guys? If so . . . AWESOME! Please be true, that you guys are working on it or already have. PLUS is this mod compatible with Biomes O plenty? If it says on the main page im sorry I dont see it! D:
Were you able to resolve your issues with being able to craft things with our wood?
Yes, I was, it was another mod I was using (Multi Colored Things) that for whatever reason prevents your wood from being used as sticks, buttons or anything really. I let the other mod author know about it.

Does anyone know a fix/workaround?
Yes, that was a known issue because Forestry updated to an alpha build the day after we released 3.14.0. This is why we released 3.14.1...it fixed the API issue between EBXL and Forestry. You need to update EBXL to the most recent version for 1.6.2.
I don't know what glitch you are talking about regarding saplings. Nothing like that has been reported before. I will need to know more information about that and which version you are using. We should be compatible with all Forge mods and I am not aware of any Forge mods that we are not compatible with.
