Do you have any timeline on when you may change the generation settings? I'm going to run a server with this mod and any changes to the Skylands rendering would make things look a little weird I think.
Hey, it affect the hell and the sky biome? (sorry for my bad english, i'm brazilian, and my english is bad)
I'll assume you're asking if the sky world generates the Nether ("hell") differently? I don't think so.

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
So, is the cave dimension going to ever use the build height? I love the cave dimension, but not using the build height just feels like a loss to me.
I was wondering the same thing. Any chance you could try to make the cave dimension work with the new build height? And also, is it possible to get the day/night working on that dimension? (i ask this because I have another mod that functions are based around day/night, it refuses to work properly, and I am assuming its because the day/night cycle is off or something.)
Hi again. I've taken a look around with this mod and I'm gonna change my criticisms a bit: The color changing water is a great touch, and after a bit of playing it's kinda of nice. However, if you haven't already, I'd suggest an option to turn it off-it's always a struggle when certain mods completely replace something on the side, y'know? Anyways, I'm going to stay with the 'separate enhanced-default world type' argument. Some of the changes you've made are great but they kind of kill finding and sharing a good seed, or using one yourself. Also with this point:The villages:changing them up is a fantastic idea and some of the structures-especially the mine and watchtower-are really nice. The improvements you've made on the houses to make the look nice are splendid. Unfortunately, I still have to be a bit knit-picky about this change; My only criticism is that, unless the mine shows some ores, these villages are completely void of fine resources-If you simply added in loot chests and bookshelves, myself and likely many others would be very happy. (You could even take another step and decorate the houses with beds, tables, benches, ect.
Once again, overall a great mod with really fun and useful features, it's just some of the little things like seeds and and villages being slightly changed that prevents a person such as myself from wanting to download it.

Thanks for the mod, i got the SSP working great, problem is i can not get the multiplayer version to work.
I downloaded the mincraft_server.jar file, opened it with WinRAR and copied all the files from the BWG3_114_MP file into my open mincraft_server.jar file.
I closed WinRAR. I re-opened mincraft_server.jar file to make sure it saved all the BWG3_114_MP files and it did.
I closed it and in my SERVER file changed "level-type=Default" to "level-type=Sky Dimension", clicked save and closed that.
I moved the mincraft_server.jar into my Minecraft Server folder, which includes:
SERVER file, White-list file, and the others, including the minecraft_server.exe.
I open minecraft_server.exe and it builds the new map.
Now when i open the map, it is a regular map, not the Sky Dimension.
I followed this tutorial: to get an idea, have i missed something?

better world generation 4 is going to have an enhanced-default world type and i'm still working on the villages.

i don't have any plans on changing the skylands generator
using the full height would make the world generator very slow.
What if you made a different world type for the larger Cave Dimension? Let's call it "Super Cave Dimension".
That way people and servers that can handle and/or do want the Super Cave Dimension can have it, but people and servers that don't want and/or can't handle the Super Cave Dimension can still use the plain Cave Dimension.

Hey everyone, I'm back!
V1.1.4 (minecraft 1.4.4) (forge 6.3.0)
Universal: (adf.ly) (mediafire)
My large biomes world made with 1.4.2 will still work with this right?
I'll assume you're asking if the sky world generates the Nether ("hell") differently? I don't think so.
can you be more specific about which build of forge you compiled with? not working at all for me on 6.3.0.372 recommended release for 1.4.4.

no, only on default and large biomes
using the full height would make the world generator very slow.
