i have a crash error similar to Nyco78,but in single player.when i install the mods (for 1.4.2,i tried all the 3 versions but always the same) my game crash

That is my unfortunate mistake in fact it is mine and moreexplosive's fault for doing the same mistake. This was fixed in later versions but I do not unfortunately have my older version's code so I can't fix old versions.

Should work with Buildcraft. My mod only has new classes. It does not have any modified base classes. And if it is an ID problem then just change that in the configuration in my mod.

I have half of the idea worked out in my head, but I need to sleep on this to finalize the idea. The problem is I don't want this to turn into another "Locked Chest" of Minecraft where it is just left in the game for no apparent reason. I'll sleep on it and see what I can do for you guys.

May I ask, would it be possible to put out a version of the Meteor mod, but instead of the new ore it contains Iron, or Gold, or such? Would that make it possible to install serverside with no client install?
I'd love to put it on our server, but cringe at the thought of requiring every single person to download an additional mod.

You would need a server mod/bukkit plugin for that. While I am versed in the Bukkit API arts so-to-speak, I don't really have time to make such a plugin.
In other news: Progress is going well. I wish now I had just made a Christmas mod, but you will see. It adds a new decorative block for you guys to use.
Unfortunately, what I wanted to do would not work out in time so I just updated the mod for you guys. So you can download V2.8.2 now for MC 1.4.6 in the main thread.
However, some good news. I now think I can get Frezarite tools to do what I want to, so expect those features to be added in the next update which will probably be sometime towards the end of this week. I also want to do some optimization to the mod to make it run cleaner so that too will be added.
