I think the what they're trying to say is that the slime isn't a projectile, but basically more of a buff for their weapons which applies to melee attacks as well as ranged attacks.

In all seriousness, I don't know when or if there will ever be a 1.8 version, I'm mostly here for tech support and OCCASIONALLY help with programming the mod. Judging by the Github repo, I would say it's still a while yet before we see 1.8 supported.

I'm an old-timer, been around since Alpha. MC: Windows 10 edition is like the uncanny valley, almost modern Minecraft but off in every way.
I have an XBox tag, but only because I needed one to try the Windows 10 version. I don't have an XBox.
This mod would require heavy changes to get to 1.8, if you want that, prepare to wait a year before any updates (probably, lets be honest 1.8 is hell to get to when you start before it)

Suggestion: A Rally Pole. Basically you put down a pole. Insert a clay soldier in it (Just like you do in a clay nexus) and it will attract all clay soldiers of that color within a certain radius to it.
I understand there wont be giants but in the coding you can change the high and with factor and dmg but.. all the clay soldiers turn that way and they look a bit off... I would like to know if you/other madders will make a add on with giants.(Also good luck with updationg to 1.9.)

Best I can tell you is to make sure you do have the correct version of the manager pack for the version of minecraft that pack uses. Past that, I don't know of any mods the manager pack should conflict with...
I'm pretty sure I have the correct version, but then again I'm quite oblivious when it comes to stuff like this. I'm sure there's something I'm doing wrong. Anyway, if that's all there is to it, then I can just fiddle with it until I figure it out. Thanks!
Arrows used to yield a sharpened stick and a feather, and they will again. Also, how would you make a bow out of an arrow? Where is the string coming from?
i have no clue what i said about 2 years ago what i meant was you give them a bow and a arrow and then they can shoot.
I love this mod, but something that has always bothered me is the lack of a reward for creating an army of clay soldiers in survival.
This made me think that maybe I could make a ModPack based on progressing through something like an arena where you battle people with your army & you get rewards, but it struck me that there probably aren't any addons out there or even some mod interaction, so I was wondering if I was wrong & there actually is some mod interaction or an addon?

That is an addon thing, I doubt you will see the devs here pandering to that except to maybe create an easier API for it (and probably only in super high demand), which you probably don't even need, that means it is unlikely that the CSM will actually get that officially.

For which mount and which purpose? Slower ones tend to be more durable.
