hey i dont know if this is a bug or not but when i run the mod in installs a config folder to my desktop is there anyway to make it go into my .minecraft folder?

This is a known issue with San's config system. He has been trying for months to fix it. What happens is the game puts the config files for his mods in the same directory as where the launcher is placed. So if you put your launcher into the .minecraft folder and then make a shortcut to it for your desktop, it should work fine.

In all seriousness, I'm glad you got a new computer, Silver. I really appreciate how hard you work on the mod, and I can't wait to see more of it. This is seriously the best mod ever, in many ways better than the vanilla game.
As to the screenshot, I see three, possibly four, new Unique skins.
Bottom Right: Obsidian (VICTORY IS MINE!!!)
Bottom Left: Sheep?
Top Left: Dirt
Top Right: Something I can't tell; looks like a darker version of Lomopoly's texture, or maybe something new altogether
Middle: I also see some kind of maroon soldier, but I can't tell what it's supposed to be.
And finally, I think the random bison in the background is a nice touch. You have had this computer for less than a week and already you have blown my already-blown mind. +12 Internets to Silver Chiren.

Dirt and obsidian are correct. Others are a mouse and Phorxy's mooshroom skin that I made for her. None are official soldiers yet, but they are at the top of the consideration list.
Also, I've had the computer for about 24 hours now. Needless to say, I jumped right back into my work. I really enjoy it! ^.^

I really don't think we need another Mooshroom skin; it also wouldn't really work as a change to the original, since I've already pointed out it looks a bit too much like Lomopoly. It is significantly different from both the regular mooshroom and the Lomopy skins. Also I'm considering for the obsidian soldier code to be "Bite Me."

I was wondering if it would be ok to include the Clay Soldiers mod in it. I am a fan of the clay soldiers mod (i told him to put it in the modpack) and always will be XD

Silver and San say you are not allowed to put this mod in any modpacks, as that would be profiting from their work. You are, however, allowed to recommend that users of your modpack get Clay Soldiers separately. Hope that answered your question.
Hey Silver! Quick question: is the companion system going to be in Version 10, or do you think it will take more time to finish? Also, how close is V10 to completion?

The other two are Mouse Soldiers and Phorxy Soldiers. These are the new Unique (sign password) Skins that will (hopefully) be added in Version 10.
