ok so i figured out i extracted the stuff from the jar file into the mod file instead of just the whole jar file but now i get this.......

You're not supposed to open the jar. Just install forge and drop the manager pack and CSM into the mods folder. Read the instructions next time.

If you give soldiers leaf blocks it will give them the power to turn other clay soldiers into tree saplings or flowers for ten seconds

That is a very new and interesting suggestion! However, I don't think it would be entirely fitting to the item, or very easy to do. I do like the way you think though, can you stick around a while? ^.^

I just thought of a new idea if you give soldiers bone meal they can go to soldiers that where turned into saplings(they will be grey in color) they can turn them into trees and they don't grow back, and if you use shears on the leaves it will either give you clay or clay soldiers(changeable in settings).

Lol, I didn't realize that, I watched a mod review about 4 months ago showing clay soldiers. The video was probably uploaded when the mod just came out.
I was tempted to make a forums acccount to say "add sugar!" but couldn't be bothered.
I have now seen all the cool fetures of this mod such as magma cream, shears and Turtles! (I like turtles!) I think you have done a very good job making this mod.

Nope. Cookies would be the upper class of the brown soldier nation. Apples and golden apples would be among pumpkins. Starfruit would exist only for consumption, and would not be used in the creation of soldiers. Lastly, the cake would be for the cake god.
