It still works, I can still see my HD skin when I login
Good for you. Still can't download the actual mod because the site is still down after saying the update would have been done and the whole site needed an update over a month and a half ago so I don't have a copy of the mod. Even if someone did link a copy of the mod if it's working. those that want to update their skin or are completely new to the mod can't upload it because the site's down.

give him a break he almost had his house and stuff taken away and his famly member died
Well, I went to fix some security issues and ended up re-writing most of the database code. Normally, that wouldn't have taken very long. But, with everything else that has been going on it took much longer than I had planned.
The site's not gone, there have just been some unexpected delays in re-launching it.
Anyway, on to what's been changed.
The new system should load faster, be easier to search, and be more secure than the old one was. There's also a brand new skin manager that no longer forces you to load three extra pages of confirmations just to change your skin. Also, when the site comes back online, it will be at HDMCS.co not HDMinecraftSkins.com. The old address will redirect you to the new page, but if you have bookmarked the site you should update your bookmark.
There's one more new feature, but I'm going to wait until the site re-launches (in a few days) to talk about that one
AngryKahn - looking forward to the site redesign. I was wondering if you've ever considered making an API available for applications to upload HD Skins to player accounts. I've made an HD Skin creator and would love to tie in native support for your mod.
Sorry that this is taking so long. I've been working on it as quickly as I can, but things keep coming up that I have to deal with (irl, not the website). I would just put the old site back up, but there are too many security problems with that.
I should have a somewhat stable version of the site up in the next few hours. It won't be 100% working, but it's better than nothing.
Update: Ok, I got called out of town for something last night, so I didn't get to upload things as soon as I had hoped. But the site is up now, although it is a bit broken.
I have a bug to report i know you have alot of pressure on you but you said to post bugs here. The hands on my created skin arent rendering correctly even though they show up fine on the site. anyway thanks!!
khan ,if a player has this mod installed...what happens if he sees a player without hd skin ?will he/you see his "normal" skin or just the default "steve" skin ?
He will see his normal skin. Like he said on the main page this mod is compatible with minecraft.net so anyone who doesn't have this mod installed you will see a regular skin. The one they have on minecraft.net hope this helps!
ok thx ^^ i didn´t see that......however i need this mod for 1.6.2 *.*
Lol 1.6.2 caught me off guard. I'm sticking with 1.5.2 for now until all my mods are updated (Most importantly this one lol) Anyway have fun minecrafting!
I know. It's been a month of no update.

That would have been vital info, but he never posted that on the forum. How would you know that?
He posted it on his site before it went into maintenace
Then here's hoping things get better for you, AngryKhan.
