love it so much! shame inside of structures and caves are super gloomy! seems torches and glowstone etc down show any light falloff D= and i cant use my nvidia cp to force AA anymore like i usually can o.o?
heres some screenshots netherless (didnt like the crossprocess)
Looks good. Used far distance and a x512 texture pack and got like 3 FPS. Lol. Really though this thing is a resource hog, it will easily bring your FPS down by 3x using same settings.
Need help on this.
I got it to install correctly but when I go into any world, I get nothing. The world itself loads, but no graphics come up except the player HUD.
I basically get this every time, except the color of the screen is dependent on what time the world is on.
Wow, thanks for the overwhelming response, guys! I'm glad this mod gets you as excited as I was when I was working on it :smile.gif:
For anyone wanting a less bright version, open final.fsh in minecraft.jar/Shaders and adjust #define BLOOM_AMOUNT to a lower value. This is a quick fix, I'll work on a refined less bright version probably after I get some sleep, unless I procrastinate sleep for another few hours (almost 7 am here and I'm still wide awake).
So, reviewing my to-do list.. Make less-bright version. Make "budget" version for people with less powerful systems, fix the strange shadows stripes that some people are seeing (the problem may be card-dependant but I'm running an ATI 6950 and I see no such artifacts), and of course update! I'll jump on the update as soon as daxnitro finishes the 1.1 shaders. Lots of great things coming to the update! Looks like; improved shadows, fancy water shaders, HDR, and motion blur. I'm currently working on fitting dax's awesome motion blur shader nicely into the shaders I've got running so far. It looks great, with a few issues to fix. I'm also working on godrays but it's not looking so great right now.
I'll probably clean up the mess that I made in final.fsh trying things out and adjusting values here and there too, which may or may not result in speedup.
Also, I'm loving the screenshots you guys are posting! They fill me with excitement because they look so good!
So, running the installer twice resulted in different effects than running the installer once? How odd... I guess for everyone who reads this and is having issues, try that out.
So apparently if I install the mods before I install optifine I am able to see, but the mods don't work. But if I install the mods after I install optifine, I get the no terrain texture loading thingy.
I can move around and do everything like normal, I just can't see anything.

fantastic work. Here is a short video made to demonstrate the effect with different Texturepacks. ah and the second video here (still uploading for a few minutes).
*Starts rocking backwards and forwards*
We have gone t-to far. Man was not meant for this...
I use a pile of other mods so I was surprised when this worked without a hitch. Purely amazing. My laptop hates me now though and I think I may have to move minecraft over to my desktop computer for the sack of a lagless experience. Does this support bump-mapped texture packs?
how'd you install it? i can get the installer.exe to work but then what do i do?

Also: I was here before this mod became mainstream :biggrin.gif:
