This is a great mod. The only issue I have is that the trading is very frustrating. It is very difficult to find villagers who will buy things and often trading with villagers in order to open new trades only gives new trades that are the same as trades already available. I think there needs to be more trade options where villagers are buying things from you.
It would be nice to get the trading sorted out, as well as the ability to retain settings on custom villagers. I am using some of Jordan's & Kujaku10's custom Ruin's templates, and they add many custom villagers via Command Blocks, but they are all getting overwritten with MCA villagers with the normal (broken) trades.
Is anyone else having a problem with the Grim Reaper? When I build the alter and light everything lightning strikes and he appears for a split second and disappears... Any suggestions on how to fix?
When my villagers have children they just stay in their hands and never age. Meanwhile, I have 6 full grown kids and now they're stuck holding baby's in their hands, too.
Does anyone have issues with NPC's baby's becoming kids?

I do. And that was not a proposal "I do"!! I swear!! Lol halloween.
Still loving this mod after all this time. (Been playing with it since it's first release) The only issues I'm having so far, with this version, are children hit boxes being nearly impossible to click and a little glitch that allows you to spawn a butt-load of children if you hold your baby in your shield hand and right click. Note that the screen shots below all have hit boxes enabled and even then, with Michael, I have to click and click until I get lucky.
Otherwise, having fun still. (Miss being a king but that's personal) Even enjoying the fact that this is actually compatible with Harvest Festival. Adds just the little bit more fun to it all. I'll cook up a kingdom yet!
Note: This is just a suggestion, feel free to change it if you want, as long as the overall idea is the same.[/b]
Basically, this is a suggestion for levels of royalty.[/b]
So, I was messing around with the Barron/Baroness feature, and then I got an idea. Maybe, if as a baron, you get the villagers happiness up high enough, you have the option to become a monarch, which will be similar to the old monarch system, EXCEPT, you can make your village go to war with other villages, and if you win, you get that village. THEN, when you have enough villages under your control, you're crowned emperor.
If you don't want to read it all, here's a summary:
[Happiness high > Barron/Baroness][/b] (New ability[/i]: you can tax villagers.) (Already Implemented)
[Happiness Higher > Monarch][/b] (New ability[/i]: Can wage war on other villages. Old monarch abilities as well. Village happiness goes down slower.)
[Enough villages conquered and taken over > Emperor][/b] (New feature[/i]: Wouldn't being emperor be awesome? Other villages fear you, and have a small chance of surrendering before a battle even happens during a war. )
How war would work.[/b]
-When you wage war on other villages, you can have knights (Part of the old monarch feature, eh?) attack the other village, and it ends when the other village surrenders, or your knights are all dead.
-If enough battles are won, or if the village's monarch, whether NPC or a player, is killed or taken hostage, the war is won.
-You earn 'experience' for a Respect [/i]system, which makes other villages be more afraid of you, etc, from winning battles, and even more from winning wars.
Am.. there is something i want to report, MCA Guards do not attack aggresive monsters from Lycanites Mobs Mod, while those attack the new villagers without any problems, also archers suffer this same problem, they stay static and wait for they death xD
only asking because I have a nice small town going. I have a great wife that is good looking but this other villager showed up and she's good looking as well and for some reason she sleeps in my wife's bed every night. I placed another bed on the other side of mine and my wife uses that one, so every night I have a good looking woman on each side of me. Is it possible to be married to both?

You need to play out a sordid story of murder, betrayal, and necromancy....
(Last I heard, it works to kill your wife (saving the token she drops), marry the mistress, then resurrect your first wife. You do need to have defeated the Grim Reaper, see the MCA site for info on that.)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
Doesn't really matter now, my wife in the game died from a creeper and there was no token or chest so I cant bring her back. I wasn't too happy about that, and I tried to marry the other lady and I cant seem to marry her so I guess it's just all bugged
Hy. I have this issue that it won't load the German language for the Chat. Buttons are loaded properly. Singleplayer is fine. Server is provided by Nitrado(DE). Another issue is blurry Villagers, but i posted that in the issue tracker on Github already.
I'm having a weird issue: When a villager from MCA dies, my screen goes red and my HUD vanishes, as though I am the one who died. I can move around and place blocks but the screen is tinted red and I can't see my hotbar or JourneyMap (which I tried disabling, along with fiddling with Optifine settings. No luck.) I tried killing chickens and it didn't happen, just MCA villagers. The only way to fix it is to force-quit Minecraft and start it up again. How can I fix this?
Additionally, hostile mobs are invisible and don't seem to be anywhere for me to hit, but skeleton arrows fly out of nowhere and cannot hit their target. [EDIT: I forgot, they are set not to damage MCA villagers, but the other problems stand.) My MCA companion does not respond to them even though I told her to attack hostile mobs.
- Instead of using arrow buttons to change a villager's height/girth player is able to manually type in a number (That or you can use the arrow keys to do this.)
- Players can set a guard's weapon (Possibly just by giving them a weapon that does 5+ attack damage)
- Player can make villagers with gold hearts hold items (Maybe a new option in special)
- Player can have an option to see hearts as a number like in the older versions. (In config)
- Villagers have a chance to be left handed (Please, I don't want to be the only left-handed on in my village, Although, you can use a command to accomplish this: /entitydata @e[r=3,rm=1,c=1] {LeftHanded:1})
- Player is able to remove/add breasts to certain female villagers, (Random chance for them to have them or not, probably 5%/1 in 20 chance not to?)
- Player can change female villager's breast size (e.g: small, normal, large, none)
- Default Villager turned in to MCA Villagers will keep their trades. (Or you can you /summon to get villagers with custom trades and even armor and items?)
-Is it possible for me to submit my own skins? I've made some, and I'd love to have them in the mod

I am trying to play this mod with the LOTR mod
in order to allow the entities to react to each other I need to enter the name of the mca entities into a text file called LOTR_EntityRegistry
an example is
name=Villager,faction=DALE,targetEnemies=true,bonus=1
this make the mobs from LOTR interact with vanilla villagers
what should I replace "Villager" with?
I have tried the following
MCA.VillagerAdultEntity
MCA.EntityHuman
MCA.EntityHuman.class
MCA.MaleVillager
mca.entity.EntityVillagerAdult
MCA.entity.EntityVillagerAdult
mca.EntityVillagerAdult
MCA.EntityVillagerAdult
Thank you

please add this idea
So, uh... I married a villager to another villager, and then the female villager died. But, when I revived her, something weird happened.
It says that she's married to Isacc, right? I'm not crazy, right? Just to confirm, I gave her a matchmaker's ring.
Okay, it's proved, she's married. No big whoop, right?
That is, until i show you this next picture.
WHAT!? BUT IT SAYS MIRANDA'S MARRIED TO HIM!
Does this have to do with Miranda dying? Is Isaac a permanent widow, even though his wife is alive now?
Also, I LOST MY GRANDAUGHTER. No chest, no notification. At all. She just disappeared.
Man, this sucks. I just want my villager family back together...
Embrace the nerd.

umm.. is this a client side problem or something.?
So... how many wives can you have <.<

...You may want to check on your default naming list.

Nothing to see here...
