I'm sorry if this version is no longer supported but, how do you install NEI for 1.4.7? I've already installed forge for 1.4.7 and I triple checked it correctly. However NEI wont appear at all. It doesn't crash, NEI just doesn't show up.
(By the way, the reason for using 1.4.7 is because i want to play the full version of Divine RPG which Diving RPG works perfectly)

There will always be that kind of a moment at least once in everyone's life. That moment when your sitting there listening to someone going down memory lane, but really not listening at all.
For those of us poking at old version of Minecraft like 1.5.2, could you have installation instructions for old versions somewhere? I can't remember if NEI and CodeChickenCore both go in coremods, or just CodeChickenCore. Help?

Try opening you inventory and press o on you keyboard if that doesn't work looking the controls and see if anything is using the o key

NEI and ChickenCodeCore are both core mods as far as I remember

I have repeated this question on the last 2 pages this is the third page and third reask anyone have any ideas?
Hey,
Got an IOException on my private server when updating Thaumcraft 4 and Ars Magica 2 the log points at Chicken Lib and Multipart any ideas: http://pastebin.com/4Muitz0y
Nope pressing O does not work. I know i have it installed correctly in the coremods folder it just wont appear at all...
I need NEI but im thinking maybe that version just doesn't work...

Did you look into the controls to see if something was using the o key?
EDIT: If that doesn't work can you post your forge log should be called forgemodloaderclient something like thats and please use pastebin
I have been using multipart blocks extensively for building however have twice (roughly a week apart from each other) had the same chunk completely delete all multipart blocks in its boundary on world load (and only multipart blocks, not a full chunk reset.)
On the first incident, inside the chunk I had:
* Buildcraft assembly table/lasers (running)
* Buildcraft Quarry (running)
* Multipart blocks (obviously)
* Railcraft Boiler (running)
* 4 Railcraft Commercial Engines (running)
* 2 Railcraft Iron tanks
* Thaumcraft 4 Infernal Furnace
* Thaumcraft 4 paving stones of warding
* Tinker's Construct smeltery
On the second incident, inside the chunk I had:
* Buildcraft assembly table/lasers (off)
* Multipart blocks (obviously)
* 3 Railcraft Commercial Engines (off)
* 2 Railcraft Iron tanks
* Railcraft steam locomotive (on in idle mode)
* Railcraft World Anchor cart
* Thaumcraft 4 paving stones of warding
I'm going to do some testing however there are two options for what is causing this to happen:
One: if there is a steam producing source inside of the chunk on world load, all multipart blocks get deleted from the world. The problem persisted for a while after the first incident, however I shut down my boiler since I didn't need the steam (though I left the boiler in place inactive until yesterday.) Today on the second incident I was testing my train system and left my locomotive in the chunk running in idle on world load and it happened again.
Two: if a chunk loading source is inside of a chunk on world load, all multipart blocks get deleted from the world. The problem persisted for a while after the first incident, however my quarry finished and I removed it from the chunk (at the same time I turned off my boiler.) Today on the second incident I was testing my train system and had my world anchor cart inside the chunk on world load and it happened again.
Everything else was either constant over the whole period of time or else didn't coincide with the incidents.
It is indeed chunk loading that is the culprit here.
What I did to reproduce the bug is I placed the chunk loading block in a chunk with multipart blocks crossing the boundary to an adjacent chunk (to show it off better.) To get it to happen just exiting the world and reentering wasn't enough, nor was restarting the client. I had to load the world for the first time since a computer restart to get it to happen, however now that the chunk is bugged only a client restart is enough to vanish new multipart blocks placed in the chunk.
This definitely effects chunk loading from two different mods, the first time I had it happen with buildcraft and the second with railcraft, I've yet to test other chunk loading methods.

I actually just ran into this, and was lucky enough to find the answer. Anything 1.5.2 and earlier will require the old launcher system in order to function with NEI. It seems as though the earlier NEI code called upon local location-specific values to function properly (like most drop-into-the-jar mods did) and thus cannot work with the new launcher's "old version" mode. You will have to grab the old launcher from the minecraft site (download page, under "old version"), as well as the ORIGINAL jar for the version you wish to run.. not just the one you can force to download via the new launcher. They're easy to find, though. You then have to install forge and normal. NEI does indeed go into coremods with CodeChickenCore, though. At least it did for my 1.4.6. Everything else goes in the regular mods folder.
I can't 100% guarantee that ALL of this is required, but after multiple "let's try this" attempts, this was what worked for me.
I am trying to make a 1.6.4 mod pack for myself but when I install any of these mods I get this error. http://pastebin.com/BvREKcjE
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!
I have Forge 9.10.1.871 installed. I tried everything but still getting that error. BTW, it says, mod itself installs "lib" or something like that. It didn't installed anything. Nothing happens when i click the play button.
Wondering I placed a wireless transmitter in world and it;s non solid and only the sphere and the numbers render to me might not be a bug but I don't have optifine and other forge Microblocks are the same
Multipart is not rendering, its like is not even there when i walk over it, but i cant place a normal block where the multipart is suppose to be,
i just have to use TNT to remove the multipart

i have to wait ~20 minutes for minecraft to load each time and this bug really annoys me. i don't even have any ender tanks placed.
